That's a really good game yup, but it has its flaws, like the horrible controls, some bland retro tracks, and the overbugged races. I'm tired of seeing insane shortcuts in TAS.
That's honestly the most interesting thing about the game though, gameplay wise. The shortcuts done are signs of a dedicated community who want to push a game to its limits, and if stuff like this is possible, then I'm all for it. But take those away, and what's left? The gameplay is far less appealing to me, and it's a game left carried by its admittedly well-aged visuals and good tracks. But I'm someone who prefers the actual meat of a game, not the plate, and I see a dull game with poor balancing and jank everywhere

Nah, not really, I always enjoy seeing new discoveries on tracks. And yeah I can't exactly deny that the game's only alive because of CTGP, but that furthers my point. What would've happened if it didn't exist? The game wouldn't be as overrated as it is now

Yeah but Wii has its flaws, and I still think that's an enjoyable game. Overrated doesn't mean loved. It means too loved for something that he isn't. MKDS is 100k worse than Wii and he receive the equal love that we give to Wii, or even more While Wii can receive some hate. Plus Wii deserve the love

oh yeah, some of the retro tracks were bland, and the controls were all messed up I had to change them.
At least with the retro tracks they didn't ruined te original, they always improved from the OG one. Some of them are sorta bland (especially the N64 mario racewayn, the SNES MC3 etc., and oh my god Sherbet Land is a horror) but they didn't ruined them like they did in DS. GCN tracks in DS were pain. They took Mushroom Bridge and masterpices like that, they ruined shortcuts, they ruined chaos, they ruined jankiness, they ruined ambiance.

Well, I think Mario Kart Wii is the good moderate game. It is 4th on list to best to worst (or worst to best) for me.
MKDD's shortcuts are large better, and MK7 shortcuts too. MK7 has best tracks, MK8DX has the best tracks in the series, but MKWii has something for me.

I need HELP!!! Do any of you know how to delete custom characters in MKPC? I am trying to play a game and they keep showing up during my grand prixs. I would appreciate it if someone sends a message. Thanks!
Well, you take a custom character that has the same model as Mario, Luigi or any character in the roster. they would appears like MKPC characters.

The links aren't working. Like Osc-omb said, that was unpublished races, or deleted races that aren't deleted from the files of the maker.

WII Moonview Highway, just for "fun".
That would be a good pick. I love the theming but the Wii execution on this track is pretty janky, I'd love to see a modern remake of this, but we have already Toad's Turnpike (even if it's not into a city exactly, but outside), and Shroom Ridge. But yeah that would be amazing, except if they take really plastic textures.

I would add this weird track that we currently call 3DS Wuhu Island. I mean, I would like to see the two Wuhu tracks, both Wuhu Loop and Wuhu Mountain Loop ; why ? Because they're great. Wuhu Loop ? Your seaside'n'cliff track, with some chilly vibes. A lot of details, a lot of shortcuts, and a cool ambiance. And now, Maka Wuhu. That's just the same thing but better. A magnifique sunset, even more shortcuts, a lot of sections and good ambiance.
Why they wouldn't do like in Animal Crossing, with 50% of chance to have Wuhu Loop and 50% to have Maka Wuhu ?

I would say that since the two tracks are connected, they could have two laps, which each one being a different course, but then I remembered this is a section track.

Skelerex is a threatening name for such a cute creature. Dry Bones is great.
Skelerex comes from "Squelette" in french, which means "Sketelon" ; I think that Dry Bones is good, but ths is not a threatening name. They are cute yes, but man, they are still skeletons.

Even if Infi responded to the question, I will give my opinion. Birdo is clearly the one who can beat Daisy if we had to pick one. But wait... *insert Birdo dark and white flashbacks, distorted by TV glitches*. Birdo is supposed to beat Daisy, because she has the best handling. But clearly in her, there's something wrong. I mean, she has a good handling, but her acceleration is less nice (which was the other good point of Daisy). I mean, her handling and her acceleration are the same. They are less nice versions of Daisy, and she has a very mediocre max speed. But... Birdo has a good point. her weight ! Oh yeah, that's the most useful stat in the game !

Clearly Birdo is a lame copy of Daisy who could almost snake. She could almost snake, she has 21/24 in handling and acceleration, when Daisy has 24/24. Plus her max speed is 3/24, while Daisy's one is 9/24.

No, I don't think there is a limit of storage for quick mode tracks. In the past, before the genocide I did, I made 300 tracks in quick mode and the storage wasn't even close to be out.
