Plagiarized from who? Ignoring that the general idea is...extremely basic and obvious.
Like, that's not really plagiarism on it's own. It makes a lot of sense. Is the suit color the same? Is bubble's interaction with enemies the same? When was that Bubble Flower created? How many people knew about that fangame beforehand?
Like, I'm not gonna call someone who's never heard of A Hat in Time a plagiarizer just because their song is simply called 'Train Rush'. It'd have to be undeniable.
bro have u not seen that one fanart of bubble mario? then, nintendo just went straight ahead, months later, and copied the EXACT IDEA AND SUIT COLOR! everything about it is the same!
As I said, they already used (most) of the mechanics in NSMBU for Bubble Baby Yoshi. The only one that wasn't there is bouncing off of the bubbles (I think)
And the "suit color" in question is literally just pink.
They would definitely have nuked stuff if they stole from it, I guarantee it. It was most likely just a coincidence for the color (Because it's literally just pink.)
We'll find out next 2D Mario though.

Okay, that one is pretty well known. But that game's Bubble flower is based on the same thing Wonder's Bubble Flower is based on: Bubble Baby Yoshi from NSMBU (older than both). You can tell with the whole "enemy dies and becomes coins" thing. The colors are pretty uncanny, I will admit(although Mario has never had a pink powerup so simple colour distinction could be the cause). I feel like they would've taken it down if that was the case tho. Nintendo have struck down games like AM2R just because they were making something similar themselves, even though the games ended up being extremely different by the end of it. Fangames have died for less(like the Battle Royale Mario). If that was the case, I think 12 Orbs would've gotten nuked. Not that Japanese developers are looking up ROM hacks of SMW to begin with.
Either way, World has no original power ups(besides Coin Shell) or characters, so nope, no plagiarism, whether that was intended copying or not!

No problem. It's not wrong to say either. We'll likely never know. But World at the least has nothing new so it's fine on that front. If the next 3D Mario has anything that close to a fan design tho, it'd be confirmed for sure.

The only thing I'm sad about is that they didn't add any tracks from Mario Kart 8 into world 
They added sky high sundae and it was from mk8 dlc
Since development for World started in 2017, it is highly likely that it was straight up made for World first. Then we got the downgraded version in Tour & 8DX.

P4R definitely isn't coming out this year, but GOTY is not going to be easy. E33, Prime 4, Wilds are all really good. I guess Bananza could technically be up there as well.

A while ago on Twitter the "guys vs bears" stuff was happening again & I came across an image of a guy who survived an actual bear attack. I don't wanna go into too much detail but he didn't look too hot and it scarred me for weeks.

It's kinda pointless without adding the region/continent to begin with, even then I imagine bordering countries (like that whole pocket of Europe next to France) have almost identical temperatures (tbh idk I'm not into weather)

Anyway it's so that the show is memorable. You can forget an episode but the song gets ingrained in your memory. And if you ever find yourself forgetting the song, it'll come back to you.

Why are there not much comments on topics anymore
Without A Generalized Area that Will not Be Named all the conversations have been spread out like crazy. It's probably still around the same amount of messages, just way less concentrated. More topics = less messages per topic. Every once in a while one might stick for a bit, but the smaller ones fizzling out is much more noticeable, whereas before the conversation would have switched to something else and the topic would have a lot more pages.

Tbf you guys will run out of tracks at some point, and this game lacks those random 3D background elements that made those LEGOKOTOR/MK8/FNAFSB Geoguessr videos really difficult. So I don't blame them for suggesting custom tracks.
It doesn't help that the base game here is 3 seconds away at all times & the tracks are all extremely short. You can literally just go find the right track and come back in half a minute, ie there's no reason to guess on the harder images. You test your theory and come back in 20 seconds. So it's pretty much down to how honorable the people playing are.(which is not likely)
Glad you guys are having fun though, but it's definitely going to end sooner rather than later seeing as how tracks are being repeated already. Atleast I learned that Riverside and Lakeside have different grass textures.

I've been playing for a little bit now and I'm wondering if rubberbanding is a thing in this game.
By rubberbanding, I mean the CPUS behind me speeding up and getting better items specifically to keep me from winning.
This could also definitely be a skill issue as I am not a good player.

Yes, there is rubberbanding in the game, but the CPU's cheat with items to so...
It's not really cheating. They just don't have the roulette like the player does so they get theirs faster (even if you mash). They never use items they got from thin air.

I meant killing bagging would make the intermissions better, not remove the intermissions. The intermissions are worse because of bagging - otherwise ppl would dwvote time to learning shortcuts and stuff like the normal tracks. Only thing is the shortcuts require atleast one shroom normally, or even 3.
I agree, except there's one problem with that; there are no shortcuts. At least, not like the ones on normal tracks; all the shortcuts are just 2-3 mushrooms through offroad, where 3-lap tracks have some crazy stuff. Just look at Great ? Block Ruins
There are still cool shortcuts from time to time. Nobody is labbing them though, and they're extremely situational.
I'm not gonna pretend that they're all super visually exciting compared to the actual courses and a lot of it is very fighting game -esque cuz with 200+ intermissions to memorize they're really just knowledge checks, but they're there.
