To be fair, we did predict Diddy Kong, Birdo, and Kamek in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass and I also think Diddy Kong, Kamek and Pleasie 's character selection icons are the most legit of them all. What do you think? Edit: the new Battle Mode modes did end up in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in it's revamped Battle Mode.

I think you forgot their names: the doctor guy is E. Gadd from Luigi's Mansion, and the orange dolphin is Pleesie from Super Mario 3D World.
