Agree, this game doesn't really do much to encourage actually playing it *cough* forums *cough*
There are lounges on Discord, but there's the issue that many people here are younger than 13. CT Project has SQs which are similar to tournaments though it's rare for more than 8 people to show up.
Ultimately, barely anyone plays the game.
Would be cool but could also take away from the game as I think paying attention to the minimap is part of the gameplay. I do think this should get added, albeit as an optional setting.

I know you kids are so amazed at the thought of a secret item but trust me you only enable the dark shell when you're just dicking around. In my 2 years of playing this game, I think I've only played with the dark shell like 3-5 times and that's just a casual lobby with Nodac.

Host another server wide tourney (ex. Balloon Fight Tournament back in 2018 ). I don’t know when the last was since I’ve been out of the loop and if anyone has said this in the topic in general but I think it would be a cool idea to bring back into the light

Attack items alerts would be a quality of life addition that shouldn't be too hard to code for (at least I don't think so).

No. This game is already alot more narrow than other MK games so this would make them straight up unavoidable at times.
Bullet is supposed to be strong and I'd say it's pretty balanced. You can edit the item distribution if you want it to be less frequent.

It's just annoying because it always comes without warning and makes you lose your item. There's nothing more annoying than trying to catch up and take a shortcut with triple or golden shrooms just for the noob behind you to screw you with a bullet.

I would kill for this but also slightly concerned about it too. I worry that it'll make things pixel perfect, meaning walls won't be diagonal which means you could easily get stuck on any wall.
So when I was time trialling Wii Mushroom Gorge by Keqing, I had to make sure to charge up a mini turbo and release it at the edge, so I could take the beginning shortcut without using mushrooms. It was super annoying to do because every time you finish a lap, the time and stuff will flash on your screen. It was really hard to see what I was doing, so I wish you could toggle the flash or change the duration. This is really small because it's a whole bunch of yap
I also wish you could erase zones (and also whatever else you draw but can't erase); if you make a mistake you have to start over right now (if there is a way please let me know)

Lakitu isn't in the way at all I have no idea what you're talking about.
Also you can sort of edit zones by mohe nodes around. It's not perfect but 'erasing' wouldn't really work either.

I'd explain why this is a dumb suggestion but you clearly don't know how to read anyway so there's no point.
What if we could customize items for tracks, cups, and multicups. What I mean is like being able to change item appearance rates to your liking. Also being able to make custom items by combining items. For example, maybe you want to replace the triple bananas with 5 bananas like in MK64. All you'd do is set the triples appearance rate to 0, then make the custom 5 bananas thing. (also, just because, you could make a special item that gives you 10 shocks cause why not) It'd also be neat if you could do like the decors in complete mode, where you can change stuff like the sprites and maybe even the size. This way, you recreate items like the GIANT Banana, Bowser Shell, or GIGA Bob-omb from Mario Kart Tour.
I almost agreed but then you made your suggestion longer than 2 sentences. This is just convoluted and knowing the people here can't even figure out CM they wouldn't understand this either.

Why do most request include removing things from the game? This channel is about suggestions to add features and new things, not removing anything. NOTHING will be removed: not battle mode, not quick mode, not bullet bill, nothing. So please stop saying "Remove this because that" no just deal with it.

I disagree. People are allowed to voice their opinions and some things just are not good for the game. Removing forum ranks for example is almost unanimously agreed upon to be a good change.

Frequently Asked Suggestions: (may be updated)
1. New Courses for the base game (eg. N64, GCN, Wii etc.)
Adding new courses takes a lot of effort to create, much more than the good custom tracks on the site. It's better to focus on more important updates such as bug fixes and optimisations. You can also just play the custom tracks that people worked hard to build anyway, such as the (currently WIP) community project MKPC Generations (go check out other creations too!).

I try to imagine a time of Nintendo when they reach their peak, with caring about the fans, and having the next 3D Mario, even if we have to wait. But also, the franchise is supposed lively. SMPJ isn't going to make the characters mingle like that. Odyssey almost had everything Mario planet had to offer.
I mean, I did play more games. I just fear of Nintendo being engulfed by greediness, and losing the sense of the Super Mario franchise.

Most of the modes from Mario Kart have been included: Grand Prix, VS, Battle mode, Time Trials, and more!
There's also a brand new mode: the track builder! Place straight lines and turns, add items, boost panels and more! Everything is customizable! The only limit is your own imagination!
You can share your tracks, and try other people's tracks thanks to the sharing tool. Thousands of custom tracks are already available!
Finally, you can face players from the whole world thanks to the multiplayer online mode! Climb the rankings and become world champion!

I try to imagine a time of Nintendo when they reach their peak, with caring about the fans, and having the next 3D Mario, even if we have to wait. But also, the franchise is supposed lively. SMPJ isn't going to make the characters mingle like that. Odyssey almost had everything Mario planet had to offer.
I mean, I did play more games. I just fear of Nintendo being engulfed by greediness, and losing the sense of the Super Mario franchise.

What's Mario Kart PC?
You might know Mario Kart, the most fun racing game series of all time! Mario Kart PC uses the same base as the original games but is playable on your browser, and for free.
Most of the modes from Mario Kart have been included: Grand Prix, VS, Battle mode, Time Trials, and more!
There's also a brand new mode: the track builder! Place straight lines and turns, add items, boost panels and more! Everything is customizable! The only limit is your own imagination!
You can share your tracks, and try other people's tracks thanks to the sharing tool. Thousands of custom tracks are already available!
Finally, you can face players from the whole world thanks to the multiplayer online mode! Climb the rankings and become world champion!

For the record, I'm not hating on QM. The reason I rejected your course is because of MKPC limitations.
I can answer your question though. After a while, QM gets boring. Either the courses are spammy or lack originality.
In addition, some users (@RHcks, @BowserJr03 and @TheNudgyHampter to name a few) make pretty incredible CM courses that take no less than a few hours. No one can compare one their courses to a QM and say, "Yeah, the QM's better."
