Viable characters in MKPC

I already know that Daisy is #1, but I was wondering if there are other good characters that are close to her, or if this is just a "Brawl Metaknight" situation where all the rest need some sort of cheese to beat Daisy.

I already know that Daisy is #1, but I was wondering if there are other good characters that are close to her, or if this is just a "Brawl Metaknight" situation where all the rest need some sort of cheese to beat Daisy.
It's sort of a Brawl MK situation.
The other characters in the cast can be split into two different categories:
1. The characters with high enough handling to snake/reverse drift. All these characters are invalidated by Daisy for one reason or another. Peach is outclassed/equal to Daisy in every stat. Birdo is outclassed in every stat barring weight, which is probably the least relevant stat especially when bumps do so much anyways. And Toad/Toadette are outclassed in every stat by Peach, which clearly doesn't help their case.
2. The characters who do not have the necessary handling to perform either of these techniques (without glitches but that's extremely unsustainable anyway), and thus are immediately invalidated.
Is it possible to beat Daisy with other characters? For sure, if the player in question has very unrefined lines with snaking and you get good item luck then it's possible. But if not, no character stands a chance.

I somewhat agree. I like a defined meta, but the problem to me is that some characters provide no advantage to others, no matter what, such as Toad and Peach compared to Daisy. It probably wasn't intentional but I still think it's an issue

Even if Infi responded to the question, I will give my opinion. Birdo is clearly the one who can beat Daisy if we had to pick one. But wait... *insert Birdo dark and white flashbacks, distorted by TV glitches*. Birdo is supposed to beat Daisy, because she has the best handling. But clearly in her, there's something wrong. I mean, she has a good handling, but her acceleration is less nice (which was the other good point of Daisy). I mean, her handling and her acceleration are the same. They are less nice versions of Daisy, and she has a very mediocre max speed. But... Birdo has a good point. her weight ! Oh yeah, that's the most useful stat in the game !
I'm joking.
Clearly Birdo is a lame copy of Daisy who could almost snake. She could almost snake, she has 21/24 in handling and acceleration, when Daisy has 24/24. Plus her max speed is 3/24, while Daisy's one is 9/24.
So Birdo. Are you really the character that could beat the might that is Daisy for MKPC ?

Okay, her max speed is really really bad, and this is only forgiven by her weight. And we can find over her. I mean. Peach and Toadette has 18/24. Even with that, they can get over her. Birdo has +3 in handling, which would sounds like Birdo would win. But no. Peach has 9/24 in max speed Toadette has 6. If you see what I say, Toadette couldn't win due to her mediocre stats overall, but Peach can. In MKPC official stats, the difference between a character and another one is 3/24. So that means Peach is barely under Birdo, while having a better max speed. She just has -3 in acceleration, but she just got -6 in weight. Who cares about weight ? So yeah, Peach could beat Birdo. That's actually really close. Toad isn't even close of beating her, due to its actually average handling.
And yeah.
Nobody can beat Daisy.
Even Peach.
