Nintendo pranked us.

So I went to my local Walmart and went to the gaming session only to see that Mario latest games were still there. My question is that why did nobody expected that Nintendo was pulling a prank on us?

I mean April Fools was just right around the corner when Nintendo announced Mario's "Death".

I think that they were stocked on March 31st, then they had not all been taken yet.
