My question is:
1. is this site REALLY sponsored by Nintendo? Then they would be one of the admins.
2. Why is Nintendo not on our Discord?

Well, this question is very dumb. If it would be sponsored by Nintendo the game would be paid and there would be Nintendo logos on the website.

Anyways, what is sure is that Nintendo is a company that uses its copy rights when it is possible and doesn't tolerate fan games at all... So if a Nintendo employee discovers MKPC then the game would be taken down and we could say goodbye to Wargor's work.

They are just using Nintendo's sprites and crediting them!

The site isn't sponsored.
The message to Nintendo is a thanks because MKPC re-use characters, gameplay, sprites, level design and music from Nintendo.

Now, let's talk about Nintendo and fangame.
Nintendo isn't that mean towards fangames.
This happen often because of a real reason.
Like for AM2R, the existence of an official remake made by Nintendo.

An other important reason is that some fangames have ads before downloading or on the website. That can be considered by making money out of Nintendo creations'.

However, Mario Kart PC do have ads in order to pay the servers.
So, MKPC isn't completely risk-free of being shutdown.
