Ok, the Sonic/Link matchup becomes so much easier once you enable auto-dash. It's easy to get up close and personal with Link, especially in the air.
Mario has his Cape, so any projectile he uses can be reflected back at him. Also because his combo game is so good, a heavy character like Link suffers against him.
Goku is a little harder to play vs Link, but it can be done. Use up throw more to combo him easier, and mix up when you use your float (Link is so such fun to fight offstage against characters with bad recovery like Goku).
