the reset was meant to start at the start of the year, but in november people have started saying that its going to fail, like for example the youtube shorts colonization and Vexbolts mass unfollowing, we didnt get youtube shorts and Vexbolts gained 4M as a bonus for his 1 Mil.

I'm surprised anyone thought that this'd last any longer than a few minutes, honestly. Children's social media content evolves over time and like it or not the social media content you grew up with was also brainrot, so there's no real point in bashing the newer slop that appears on social media. Of course it won't last, kids' content was always made to be a passing fad. Think of the Christmas presents you got as a toddler, do you use those things now? Chances are you don't, and it's the same with trends and humour. People don't find the same thing funny after they've seen it for long enough. These things can and do change whether you like it or not.
