What did you think of Nintendo Music?

Nintendo Music, a music app from Nintendo, was announced.



Nintendo's music is exclusive to their app This is bad if Nintendo goes back to that habit of taking down music videos from YouTube, as they need this music to be used in custom tracks. and you need Nintendo switch online for the app to work. the subscription is expensive. many people don't have the money to have this app

Goes back to that habit? They never stopped. (RIP NintendoMelody, died last month)

In any case, I haven't tested it. It's not available here( a lot of apps aren't)

What is NintendoMelody?

Have you ever heard of GilvaSunner?(the legit OST uploader) Basically that but for Switch games. The best place to get RIPs from Switch games on YT, in fact. Nintendo toook 'em down last month. They have a secondary channel, but it's going to take a long time to re-upload all the music. They probably won't bother with it.

I say like GilvaSunner, but GilvaSunner never had full OST playlists and 30 min extended versions. It was a great channel.

So, it's looking like soundtracks will be added weekly/biweekly. A good sign compared to NSO's usual drip-feed.
