track/decor questions

When you're making a circuit image for MKPC what size image and what kind of file do you use? I'm kinda looking for ways to improve the image quality of my tracks here. For example I'm working on a new track now using a jpeg 2000 by 2000 file (hope that makes sense ) and it's pretty big, but very poor quality. Any suggestions?

My tracks are 1024 x 1024 or 2048 x 2048 so I don't think size is the issue here, do you have any examples with poor quality that I could take a look at?

Edit: What I'm predicting rn is that you're using a .jpeg file instead of a .png file (jpegs always are a bit compressed, leading to crusty quality)

It's poor quality because it's a jpeg, make it a png instead
