What has been the roughest point in your life?
For me its having to go through puberty. My face is starting to break out and I'm starting to grow hairs on some parts of the body that I won't be stating and growing a mustache which some people are making fun of me for. (Btw I'm Dominican, Greek, so I will be growing hair very quickly.)

The school I was going to closed and I've been battling through a year of homeschool. Very little structure, I'm desperately trying to stay on track. It's got me worried, especially with college and whatnot coming up😓

I personally believe that there is some sort of meaning to life but it is different for everyone and we must discover it. I’d even say you have the freedom to reject said meaning and find a new one.
But let’s say a mysterious figure tells you with absolute certainty that life has no meaning. Should you let that imprison you or should it set you free?
For me if life has no meaning it gives you the ability to forge and create one for yourself. I mean in a way it could set you free since if there is no meaning to find like I believe then well, you could do anything. Although in a way freedom denies you the right to chose, since if nothing matters then your freedom doesn’t, and the choices you make won’t either.
Or maybe I’m thinking to deep in to this ans the true meaning of life, or lack there of is those you care about. I mean as long as you cherish the times with them does any of this stuff matter? Sure the universe might not care about me or give me any grand meaning but the times I have with the people in my life. Well those times sure are meaningful to me.
Although there will always be a small part of me that ponders the idea you presented, since I am most likely wrong and maybe, just maybe, I need a little freedom.
(Holy shit that was an essay, I hope you understand this since I was mostly incoherently rambling. Also I love the fact that other people write essays when things are getting bad on the site or to call someone out, and there’s me. With my silly little essay about life which will probably be ignored.)

Bro, LAST YEAR. Ever since last year I'm down in the dumps. First off, you all know how middle school is, and it's actually worse then back in the old darn tootin' days. Because, be honest, everyone is stupid. Stupid here, stupid there, stupid is everywhere. And, yes, myself included (ADHD, I'll explain later.) Secondly, I (Who is coincidentally a male) reads the BSC, which may be unfortunate for me due to trust issues. But it's not all bad, because I've actually been more expressive lately. So count it or not, I don't care. Lastly, parent. We got:
A mother who is a manipulative jerk
A grandma and great-grandma being the last of what I like to call the "Awesome Age"
A father who may or may not play too much video games (Me too. Mario Kart for life)
A very cool grandpa (Actually, scratch that. We're talking about downs)
Myself, who had ADHD, may come annoying to people, has trust issues, ect.

The whole of 2023, the absolute whole of 2023. Assholes trying to look cool in my class bc they turned 14, the adults only knowing to throw detention like we are in Baldi's Basics, the teachers screaming and the headteacher blaming the whole class even the students that did nothing wrong for not telling the problematic people off.
I also dealt with some anxiety, was really tense, was a horrible person on the forum in March and April, was a dickeater, nitpicker, fought with Pianta, and made irrelevant essays.
In the summer my great grandmother died, my cousin broke up after a 10 year long relationship, I argued with my parents God knows how many time, even with my adorable grandparents. In the autumn I fought with my friends, and in the spring as well. In the autumn I got blamed by many more teachers than before for talking in class and being a eh student compared to before. Always fighting, creating problems, feeling bad... nah. Even the last day didn't save it as much as I hoped. Fuck that one year ; Nothing could save the hellfire that was 2023.

Probably 2018. I had a pretty rough time in high school and this was definitely the worst of it. I abandoned a community I had involved myself in due to pointless he said she said bullshit to plant myself in another community only to become the buttmonkey there (a reputation I'm still yet to shake off six years on). This led to me getting doxxed not once, but twice by two separate parties, including the second one trying to turn me against my irl friend group. Speaking of that, I also saw that, some of it due to my own hand. In general I struggled to fit in with no motivation and no social skills, leading myself with no choice but to turn to the community I had become the buttmonkey in and throw my shit onto them in an effort to stay sane, which I would eventually be exiled from for the first two of three times.
Probably the biggest cherry on top of the shit sundae I had to endure that year is that I was sexually assaulted on a dare in public. This is something that I did not allow myself to come to terms with for the better part of half a decade.
People who say high school is the best time of your life peaked in high school. What a bunch of chumps.
