I do actually think BUP circuit is good. It's not bad for a starter, it's an easy track that gives you a good feel for MK7's physics, and it showcases MK7's new glider mechanic on lap 3. I mean sure, it has no grass textures in mk8dx, but that's just a minor detail. Besides, what do you expect from wave 1?

In MK7, I liked it. In the BCP, it felt like it had a worse gameplay somehow, and the visuals were trash. The original track is still pretty good imo. Not amazing but still pretty good.

You do know that Toad doesn't actually have anything to do with the track, right? It's explained in the Super Mario Kart manual that every single track is made by Lakitu, with a couple obvious exceptions. And Toad Circuit definitely is not one of them. He wouldn't really care that people hated it.
