Okay, what is your least favorite track from each Mario Kart game?


Super Mario Kart: Koopa Beach 1. I don't exactly hate it, but it's easily the easiest track in the game considering it's a circle.

Mario Kart 64: Rainbow Road. Woah, put your pitchforks down. I'll make this easy for you guys to understand. Bro, this track is boring! It takes a minimum of 2-3 minutes to complete a single lap on it. People like me are unaware of the chain chomps charging at you. I'm sorry, the music may be the most memorable, but the layout has to be the most weakest out of the bunch, and the Special Cup in general.

Mario Kart Super Circuit: Yoshi Desert. This track is very slippery. Seriously, you need to tell me that I have to avoid giant wormholes with piranha plants waiting to snack on you?

Mario Kart Double Dash: Baby Park. This track is just an oval. I will NOT forgive Baby Park for existing. You really think the random Bowser Shells and Chain Chomps are fun to you? Grow up, tryhards.

Mario Kart DS: Yoshi Falls. Gotta be the worst track in the game. There's nothing special in this track, even the waterfalls are boring.

Mario Kart Wii: Luigi Circuit. It's just too bland.

Mario Kart 7: Toad Circuit. Same reason as Mario Kart Wii.

Mario Kart 8: Water Park. This track could've had potential.

Booster Course Pass: Sky-High Sundae. It's an oval, just like Baby Park. But unlike Baby Park, Sky-High Sundae is a good concept, i'm unpleased with the layout.

So yeah. Let me hear your opinions. What is your least favorite track in each game?

Super Mario Kart: Choco Island 2 and Koopa Beach 2
Do I even have to explain?

Mario Kart 64: Rainbow Road and Yoshi Valley
Rainbow Road is WAY too long and YV is just confusing as hell

Mario Kart Super Circuit: I love MKSC so there's not really any tracks I hate from this game

Mario Kart Double Dash: Mushroom Bridge and Dino Dino Jungle
Mushroom Bridge is just really boring sometimes and DDJ is just a ripoff DK Mountain (yes ik DDJ comes after DKM but DKM is still better)

Mario Kart DS: Luigi's Mansion, Waluigi Pinball and Airship Fortress
Luigi's Mansion does a terrible job at being a reference / homage to the Luigi's Mansion games and feels more like Choco Island 2 because of the mud section. Waluigi Pinball is just repetitive, boring and bland. Airship Fortress is overrated and also shares the same reasons as WP

Mario Kart Wii: Rainbow Road and DK Summit
Rainbow Road, like Airship Fortress, shares the same reasons as WP in my opinion and DK Summit is just meh

Mario Kart 7: Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road
Bowser's Castle feels more like a random castle owned by somebody other than Bowser because the only mention of him is at the start of the track with the Bowser face on the castle wall. Rainbow Road is just really meh and boring

Mario Kart 8: Shy Guy Falls and Mario Kart Stadium
Shy Guy Falls is overrated and mid. Mario Kart Stadium does a really bad job at being an opening track in my opinion

(not counting MK8DX because it basically has the same tracks as MK8(except for the BCP))

(also not counting Tour because there's loads of tracks I hate but I don't really feel like talking about them all otherwise it would become an essay :p)

I'll have to disagree with 3DS Rainbow Road, but the other ones do suck tho.

Super Mario Kart : Vannilla lake 1
Mariokart 64 : moo moo farm (there is nothing intresting about it, also its a ripoff of moomoo meadows (before u spam AHHH MOOMOO FARM CAME 1st DUMMY, i am aware moomoo farm came 1st ok) )
Super Circuit : Shy guy beach (just never realy understood it)
DD : I dont know cuz i never played it :(
DS : Desert Hills (this track is emptier then a poor persons money bag)
Wii : never played it, but most of its tracks are in MK8 deluxe so ill grab 1 from there, im gonna have to say moo moo meadows i guess (sorry)
Mk7 : toad circuit (Agian its emptier then an ant hill after an exterminator killed them all)
MK8 : Sweet Sweet Canyon (i just never understood the hype for it)
Tour : Tokyo blur (EMPTIER THEN A PLAYERS NEW GD ACCOUNT)

SMK: Koopa Beach 2, it's just an oval and the underwater section was poorly done imo and wasn't improved in MKDS

MK64: Rainbow Road, why is this even 3 laps + the straightaways and the fact that basically the entire track is walled in kinda defeats the purpose of Rainbow Road... MK8DX made this track WAY better though

MKSC: all the tracks in this game are good but if I had to pick one I'd have to go with Shy Guy Beach since it's an oval

MKDD: Baby Park. I mean I like Baby Park for its original theme and all the people in stars and Bullet Bills rambling about the track as obstacles when you're in 1st but the actual track layout and creativity is objectively bad and there can be WAY better ideas for an amusement park track

MKDS: There's a lot of bad tracks in this game, but ofc I would have to go with Baby Park since it's just Double Dash's version except without the aforementioned people in stars and Bullet Bills. Not counting retros, it would be Figure-8 Circuit, it's a terrible opening track imo with it being W I D E and boring with no obstacles and a basic layout

MKWii: The tracks in this game are extremely hit or miss but the misses are BIG misses. If I had to pick one I would have to go with Mushroom Gorge. I appreciate its theme and creativity, but I hate everything else about this track from the uneven split paths near the beginning with the boost panels, the uneven split paths in the cave section, to the gap shortcut near the end (as you may know by now I HATE gap shortcuts). I would actually argue that MK8DX made the track even worse because you can't superbounce or take the gap shortcut on inward drift bikes which really makes the race unfair in competitive lobbies especially due to this being a Wii track ofc everyone's going to want to use Funky on inward bikes. Either way, MK7 removing the gap cut and adding the glider was in my opinion actually a good idea as it fit better in with the rest of MK7's courses... I'm off topic here xd but you get the point.

MK7: Kalimari Desert, again, it's W I D E and boring. Not counting retros, it would be Rainbow Road -- imo it's the second worst RR in the series behind N64 due to the long straightaways and the track just overall feels boring xd

MK8(D): Tie between Toad Harbor and Excitebike Arena. As for Toad Harbor, bad execution of the theme once again. It's too W I D E with uneven split paths and really boring imo. As for Excitebike Arena, it's just a gigantic Baby Park with randomly generated ramp layouts
