So, not all of you know that Nintendo takes down fangames before they want to make a game related to that, that happened with a fangame about Making Mario levels.
That fangame was made before Super Mario Maker for the Wii U came out, but Nintendo took the fangame down months before their game.
I hope this wouldn't be the case for Mario Kart PC.

Well the only revenue generated from the site is ads and it's been going for over 13 years so it wouldn't make sense to take it down tbh.

Plus, Nintendo doesn't seem to have any plans for a Mario Kart Maker. If they did, it probably would've released back in 2021 instead of Mario Kart Live
