Everyone always complains that the CPUs are too hard in Grand Prix mode, but the issue I'm having right now is that they FREAKING LOVE SHRINKING YOU WITH LIGHTNING IF YOU DO ANYTHING, LIKE EQUIPPING AN ITEM OR TRYING TO TRICK OFF RAMPS!!! THEY EVEN DO IT RIGHT BEFORE THE ITEM ROULETTE HAS A CHANCE TO SPIN!!! DUDE, WTH!? MARIO KART IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN!!! And to make matters worse, the kart usually can't handle most track conditions if the player is shrunk.

also if you relly hate it that much just delete it from the item set

I honestly do not have any problem. Even in Grand Prix, I'm still able to get in 1st place.
