Homework is an idea that I think is great - easy access to more education outside of school and a way to encourage doing your own research... but it is anything but that. It's instead used as a way to say "We fucked up and don't have time to teach you this so we're wasting yours while also doing a shittier job of teaching."

Homework is an idea that I think is great - easy access to more education outside of school and a way to encourage doing your own research... but it is anything but that. It's instead used as a way to say "We fucked up and don't have time to teach you this so we're wasting yours while also doing a shittier job of teaching."

Yeah. In my old school, I have a lot of homework EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Even on the weekends. I work til bedtime to be exact.
Thankfully, I am in a new school and I can now work easier without a lot of homework and most importantly, without a lot of stress.
