Play more games, they said. I won't play more games. I only did that because it's been 40 years since Mario came out. I agree with Nin10doland. WHEN WILL THE NEXT 3D MARIO BE HERE!?!? Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is for something else!!!

Because Nintendo just keeps on making more and more excuses before the next open-world 3D Mario arrives!

Ok. Do you ever feel good about getting a new game in a series that got released recently? Well, what if it feels it's been too long?
...That's what happened to the red plumber...
After the failure of the GameCube, Nintendo wanted to step things up a notch. So they thought of making a 2-screen handheld, that has better features and all. Even having a pen! Enter the Nintendo DS, making it's debut in 2004. It was a massive success, becoming the best-selling handheld console of all time. It did a better job with third-party content, and having innovative features. Now about 2 years later, the Nintendo magic was at its heyday now, and the Nintendo Revolution, or Wii, was about to launch. It showcased motion controls, using the Wiimote and Nunchuck. Wii Sports was used as a demo before the console debuted. It did a good job bringing new audiences to swinging, pointing, and tilting in video games. And with Nintendo WFC in store, the Wii had many more games to use it with. But then in 2012, something tragic happened. You see, Nintendo was trying to be creative with new console ideas. So they landed on making the WiiU, the sequel to the Wii. You could connect the WiiU to the TV, but if someone else had to use it, you could just use the screen on handheld. But fans did not enjoy playing on the WiiU. Again, it lacked third-party content and hardware experience that didn't justify its value. We only thought it was just a tablet add-on to the existing Wii, but it was something worse.
It took up until 2017 for Nintendo to figure something out. The NX, or Switch, was a new handheld to revive the consoles after what happened. People were getting excited for the new system. And also, the 2010s were ending, and it was time to move on now. And with that, Nintendo brought a 3D Mario game to go with it. Odyssey. Yes, Galaxy released in late 2007, and it's sequel in 2010, but now was the time. As the early 2020s passed, something went haywire. It seemed as if Nintendo lost what made them them. Like they weren't the same back in the 2000s. And... They even forgot about their mascot's 3D adventure games. No, Bowser's Fury isn't the latest one. Heck, Mario's model is the same from 3D World! It's Odyssey that's the problem here! And the Switch 2! When the Ounce launched, it had major issues with game pricing, especially Mario Kart World, for being 80 dollars. And we had to wait all the way until Mario's 40th to get more news. But we still don't have what we need. Other video game characters have their own free roam, even Sonic! So why not Mario yet? And what happened to Nintendo?

The Switch already outsold the DS.

To me, the Switch is like a stranger. Same goes for Switch 2. They just don't hit right to me.

Nintendo just has been having a fallout this year. Honestly I don’t see them making a comeback at all unless they do something drastic.

you can buy it in a MiniMart or at mini-mart.bg and you look at the map at mini-mart.bg/nameri-magazin. Just click on a city and it'll show you the nearest MiniMart. (use a translator extension on your browser)
EDIT: if you travel to Bulgaria you'll have to pay in Lev (Euro as of 1 January 2026) (go to a CHANGE room)

A long time ago, I had a dream of the Wii Menu having an extended look, with MUCH more features. Like changing more options, the music, and lots of stuff going on the interface! Like, imagine this, but more colorful, and 30+ more channels, with news and more content.

It was bizarre yet futuristic!
