I am making this topic to talk about the recent DDoS attack, and what you can do to help prevent another one.
What Happened?
A bot account was made and it spammed topics and tracks. It got reported, but by the time a mod was aware of it, it was too late. It only got a normal ban so it proceeded to spam circuits, reaching 4289 This broke MKPC, and caused some of the recent non spam tracks to g et deleted
How to help stop it?
If you see a suspicious username or track/forum/news spam, report it immediately. Make sure the mods become aware as quick as possible so they can IP ban it. If you ignore it, you risk MKPC breaking again.

Thats weird, I don't remember anything about a DDoS attack, but my game was runing kinda slow, things like red shells didn't work correctly

I have had no issue playing MKPC recently, wasn't even aware there was a DDoS attack. However I noticed the pages were slow to load when I was making Cat Daisy in MKPC so maybe this was why?

I remember when I was going to try out Osc-omb's tracks when I clicked the link and it said about:blank. So I went to MKPC and it was slowed to load then I went to Grand Prix but the custom characters won't load.

Because it's a php website and according to the website I just mentioned, it's very common on those types of websites.

The scary thing is someone could spam ping Mario Kart PC with command prompt.
