I'm far beyond any reasonable expectation of the game actually being good, given Nintendo's downward spiral since Iwata's death.

In opposition to what the precedent message said, I honestly hope it doesn't overly do it. The amount of characters that we have got in 8DX is already perfect. So sure, sneak King Bob-Omb, Dixie in or either fans would complain. But I just hope the roster for characters and tracks can be reasonable. I'd also like some tracks with themes we have never seen before (for example swamp) and have the developers polishing said tracks.
Another thing, please do not mess up the retro selection. I know a dude around the hood who is gonna go crazy if we don't get Wario Colosseum, and it's about to go down if we don't get Pipeline, very mid track while I'm at it. This game is the occasion to have new mechanics after 10+ years, and I hope they can make the best out of it.

Me or Dick C would be pretty nice actually. And yeah I don't get being annoyed over retro selections - the tracks will show up in a game eventually? Guess people just love to be incredibly pessimistic about Nintendo despite the fact their last few main games have been bangers
