  Hey guys, it's been about 7 months since I've been here in any real capacity, had so many notifications, but I guess that makes sense. This game helped me thru the COVID timeframe, and the friends I made thru this game are still some of my closest friends today. I really suck at stuff like this, so sorry if this is just random BS.
  I've planned where I'm going to ask my GF to marry me, so that's huge. She's been the biggest part of my life since I moved to the high school I went to, just never got together until my 3rd year there cuz we were seeing other people, and didn't want to ruin our friendship. However, she's been my best friend for years now, and being my gf hasn't changed that at all. Hopefully during New Years she'll say yes.
  Oh yeah, also I'm 20 now. I was 15 when I first joined this game, so I've been here for a quarter of my life now......idk how I feel about that ngl. I've gone thru so much shit in the past 5 years, for example, cancer, graduating high school, a car crash that technically killed me, and so much more.
  I've signed up for PL S5, for some goddamn reason. I guess it was the "oh this gave me my huge jumpstart into being seen as a top player, fuck it why not" mindset, but, like, cancer fucked up my muscle memory and I've not played in so long that idk how to RD anymore. Like I would use it anyways, but still lol. Actually I guess PL S1 and S2 wasn't my huge jumpstart but my MKPCT9 performance didn't exactly tell people that I was a top player, even if I got out of my group as the bottom seed.
  After PL S5, I'm prolly fully done with this game. I don't have any drive to even play S5, so I might just dropout there depending on the map pack. After that, well, my stance is still the same from the retirement post I have up, I've done everything I could want to do in this game, made my own challenges, and beat those as well. After you've driven every track in reverse, what else is there to do?
  I'll do another update at some point, but I'll leave with this for now: Never stop improving or pushing your limits. If you think something is impossible in this game, prove it. Put as much effort as you can into it, and maybe you're right, it might be impossible, but sometimes you're wrong, and you will have done the impossible. There's a quote from a certain challenge runner, and she sums it up perfectly "Even if you jump for the stars and miss, you'll still land on the moon."

Update #2 (Account 5th Birthday):
  So I've officially been here 5 years, so before COVID. Still have no clue how to feel on that, but I celebrated by playing the track I've played the most throughout the years, Ribbon Road. Decided to go for 200cc, as that was my main mode when I retired. Oh, and also played on controller, and man, can I say a few things on that? A: I actually enjoyed playing for the first time since 2022. For someone who has ADHD, that was huge.
  B: @Wargor, idk if you will see this, but if you do, you fucked up on controllers so bad my guy. Controller require smooth steering, not just 0 and 100%, it needs everything in-between, and if you complain about balancing input devices, please note that right now controller is fucking useless right now because of this. I will campaign for this until it happens or I'm banned from the discord and the game, cuz this shit is just sad.
