Hello, I'm MetaRunnerMKW. I play most of the Mario Kart games at a fairly high level.
I have a Quick Mode series of 64 tracks called Mario Kart DLX, each with a developer time in Time Trials (150cc only).
More recently I have been porting tracks from F-Zero Climax (and potentially other racing games in the future); each of these has a developer time (150cc only). I keep track of all the records set on my Complete Mode tracks, so give them a try and see how fast you are!

I agree with this, the CPUs are way too difficult by default. I'm pretty decent at MKPC, and even I can't beat the CPUs half the time. Hopefully this topic gets more attention
