I recommend you start with small, simple tracks and work your way up. Creating Custom Courses, like any artform, is a skill you get better at the more you do it!

Another tip is to always test your course layouts before you start adding details. Draw out the path of the track as a simple line, and then use that as a test. Because the design is simple, you can alter it easily and reupload the image to keep testing it. This way, you can see if your track is the right size and is fun to play without having to worry about all the details.

Once you're happy with your test design, you can start adding all the visual details and extra stuff!

In other news, DS Airship Fortress has gotten a major update! Thanks to the new Lap Override Update, I was able to remake the Course without having to use duplicate layouts and teleporters, allowing for a much smoother experience.
