- Design: 8/10, it's a tiny bit basic but it's mostly unique and interesting, and the map changing when you take a shortcut looks pretty good (maybe a bit iffy but still)!

- Creativity: 10/10, I absolutely LOVE the idea of a limited-use shortcut.

- Music: 3/5, Daft Punk is a weird choice. (NOTE: The Daft Punk music was partially replaced because the video got blocked in Belarus and Russia)

- Readability: 9/10, sides could be mistaken for walls but is otherwise great.

- Gameplay: 11/15, the concept is very fun, and the shortcut only having limited use can be good for strategy.

Overall score: 41/50 (5 stars), overall a fun map!

- Design: 8/10, looks very well done, but the lava looks more like sand.

- Creativity: 8/10, really great overhaul! I like how some parts resemble the N64 Bowser's Castle like the carpets, feels more like a castle rather than an obstacle course inside of Bowser's Castle.

- Music: 5/5, the Nintendo Sound Select version is an elite pull.

- Readability: 10/10, very well read!

- Gameplay: 11/15, I think the ramps might jump a bit too high but otherwise plays great!

Overall score: 42/50 (5 stars), awesome work!

- Design: 4/10, despite the nice textures, it does not feel like a Donkey Kong track at all.

- Creativity: 3/10, there's nothing really interesting about the map, but it's not too effortless. However, it could use DK elements like barrels, kremlings, frogoons, etc. (Then again DK Pass exists?)

- Music: 5/5, DK Jungle remix is good enough.

- Readability: 7/10, I mistook the brown offroad for walls.

- Gameplay: 7/15, pretty forgettable track, not that fun.

Overall score: 26/50 (3 stars), pretty wasted potential.

- Design: 5/10, I respect the textures, but it still feels empty.

- Creativity: 2/10, there's nothing at all that excites me about this map. It is just road, grass, and water, maybe a few minor decorations. No cruise ship, no seagulls, just... almost nothing.

- Music: 5/5, keeping it OG.

- Readability: 10/10, at least I can easily tell what is what.

- Gameplay: 10/15, it's at least a little fun to play due to the layout of the road.

Overall score: 32/50 (4 stars), fun to play but design is mid.

- Design: 10/10, it looks amazing, I LOVE the coloring!

- Creativity: 10/10, the sunset theming and tinted decors really adds to the setting, and I love the pyramid too!

- Music: 5/5, this track introduced me to World's remix and it's one of the very few World remixes (aside the race tracks) I listen to personally.

- Readability: 9/10, while it's mostly perfect, the road is barely lighter than the surrounding sand, and the shading on the sides of the road is not helping very well.

- Gameplay: 12/15, it mostly plays amazingly, though I think there's a few too many shortcuts? But I do like the ramp in the pyramid being a nightmare to complete, after all it is a shortcut with risk and reward.

Overall score: 46/50 (5 stars), one of the BEST retro courses in here! Awesome work!!

- Design: 6/10, I think the map is a huge mess ngl, and there's no jumps at all.

- Creativity: 6/10, theme is pretty basic.

- Music: 5/5, one of my most favorites in CT Project.

- Readability: 7/10, it's ok but like the grass being a wall feels really weird, especially since there's nothing contrasting the grass from the road. The village part also has the route barely lighter than the walls.

- Gameplay: 9/15, honestly just a boring snaking hell of a map.

Overall score: 33/50 (4 stars), it's a good map but barely stands out aside from the music.

- Design: 9/10, it looks astonishing! Although while it's not THAT big of an issue, the underwater part is kinda weird?

- Creativity: 5/10, I like the boo decorations but it's otherwise a straightforward remake of Boo Lake.

- Music: 5/5, good remix of OG theme!

- Readability: 10/10, I can read it pretty much perfectly!

- Gameplay: 12/15, the green shortcut is way too wide, in my gameplay video I failed all 3 times trying to take it. Other than that, it's a great map to play!

Overall score: 41/50 (5 stars), awesome track!

Side note: Add an overlay to have the underwater part appear normally when you approach it, with an optional underwater background. I don't really like the fact that it's color tinted underwater and you still have to play it like that, but it still looks really cool from above.

- Design: 7/10, I think it's a bit on the bright end with the colors, but otherwise looks fairly good.

- Creativity: 6/10, I like the Toad decorations and the background as well, adds to the visualties.

- Music: 5/5, keeping it OG! Well, the BCP version of Toad Circuit at least.

- Readability: 10/10, absolutely no issues!

- Gameplay: 10/15, it plays fairly great, although there's an OP bullet bill shortcut that's pretty... luck based? Every time I attempt it it's like a 50/50 chance of working.

Even then, it's way too OP.
Overall score: 38/50 (4 stars), good work!

Review for the update:

- Design: 8/10, now that some colors are darkened, it's easier to see and play! Some of the criticisms are still left in tact such as some weird color mixes, but it is not as much of a problem as it was before. There's still one thing that bothers me though, and that is the chain decoration going transparent when overlapping the track, it looks ugly.

- Creativity: 10/10, I still stick to the fact that I absolutely respect the ideas and imagination put in the track, it's very original.

- Music: 5/5, I decided to give this one full credit now listening to it again, I think it well fits the map.

- Readability: 7/10, a HUGE step up! I still think the green edges not being walls is a major issue for new players, but it's not something I'd attempt to go after thinking its a ramp of some sort. The colors being darker now helps a lot with understanding what is what, and in the lavender section, walls were added to the sides to show the section is in fact walled in.

- Gameplay: 11/15, thanks to the major readability issues being tweaked, it's actually a much better and really fun map to play!

Overall score: 41/50 (5 stars), you did me proud!

- Design: 9/10, looks quite great and the textures are good!

- Creativity: 7/10, I love what decors you added like the arrows and the Bowser statue. Neat stuff!

- Music: 5/5, keeping it OG!

- Readability: 10/10, you even used purple for the walls! Shows how much you care?

- Gameplay: 13/15, very stressful online, but in the end it's a good challenging track that requires skill to master, and that's what I love!

Overall score: 44/50 (5 star), well done!

- Design: 7/10, the textures are very good for a trace.

- Creativity: 6/10, I like that there's kremlings for enemies in places. Adds to the DK vibe. But then again, you should add more stuff like the arrow signs from the original map.

- Music: 5/5, I like the replacement music pick.

- Readability: 10/10, not a single issue to be found.

- Gameplay: 3/15... yeah this one is just ASS. It all comes down to the end cut. If you don't take it lap 3, you automatically lose. Frontrunning is especially a nightmare, as speed items are required to continue, and it's not hard to lose it to a blue shell, lightning, or POW block. I also despise the gimmick of bagging halfway back and using a bill to cut to the front.

Overall score: 31/50 (4 stars), good map, terrible gameplay.

- Design: 8/10, I love how you gave it a whole new makeover. It's pretty standard, but works.

- Creativity: 8/10, mainly for the concept of changing the map alone.

- Music: 5/5, love the replacement music choice.

- Readability: 10/10, not a single issue with the visuals!

- Gameplay: 11/15, bagging is not over-reliant and you still have to do some skill to finish. The big cuts are at the start too, which helps. The cut in front of the castle is good as well.

Overall score: 42/50 (5 stars), great reimagination!

- Design: 10/10, I can't help but respect how much effort went into this track compared to a majority of the others in this cup.

- Creativity: 7/10, I love the decor in the map, even if there's not a ton. What is in there rocks! Background is a bit empty though.

- Music: 5/5, keeping it OG!

- Readability: 7/10, one of the few maps with issues. The spiral being a brown color can be mistaken for off-road or a wall, and there's a jump with an invisible out-of-bounds area right after it. I recommended making it darker, but you being disinterested in that keeps it lower in rank. Some off-road patches are the same color as the road, too.

- Gameplay: 12/15, it might throw new players off because of the sudden road changes and the arrows being a bit hard to notice, but it plays good once you figure it out.

Overall score: 41/50 (5 stars), great track!

- Design: 6/10. Pretty basic textures, but still good.

- Creativity: 2/10. There's almost no decor at all in the track. Very tasteless.

- Music: 5/5, keeping it OG!

- Readability: 10/10, perfectly readable.

- Gameplay: 12/15, when it comes to bagging, you're pretty much doing it just to take the front cut, so it comes with risks. Plays pretty nice overall.

Overall score: 35/50 (4 stars), not bad track.

- Design: 7/10. It's got a huge overuse of cannons, but the track has unique sections which are very nice. However, where's the village?

- Creativity: 9/10, I prefer this way over DS Luigi's Mansion. It's more fun and a great entry to the ghost genre of tracks.

- Music: 5/5, it's really cute and charming.

- Readability: 10/10, not a single readability issue!

- Gameplay: 12/15, I like that it's long enough for 2 laps and how it's not bagging-heavy. There's plenty of cuts, one even shroomless.

Overall score: 43/50 (5 stars), awesome track!

- Design: 6/10. It looks a little rushed out compared to others, take the boats for example. Lake is an interesting addition though.

- Creativity: 6/10, I'll give you most points for the lake, it helps make the map less generic.

- Music: 5/5, using the 8 version of the music!

- Readability: 10/10, not a single visibility issue!

- Gameplay: 11/15, I have issues with it online, but it's a skill based track and it has plenty of nice places to cut shroomless, making it stand out for difficulty.

Overall score: 38/50 (4 stars), good job!

- Design: 6/10. I do like the unique take on textures, but I feel like the map is still kinda empty.

- Creativity: 6/10. I love the idea of a sunken ship, reminds me of Wario Shipyard! The anchors and bone fish decor are neat, too. Other than that though, it could use more.

- Music: 3/5. I get you're going for a creepy vibe, but it's not really much of racing music.

- Readability: 6/10. I think the way it glows into the out-of-bounds looks weird and could be mistaken for a wall or off-road. The road's a little hard to see, but for the actual ship itself, I assume you intended that.

- Gameplay: 7/15. I imagine this track being heavily reliant on bagging since I can cut off the track anywhere I want.

Overall score: 28/50 (3 stars), pretty mid but love the idea.

- Design: 7/10. While a bit standard, it is still well textured, even the smoother textures. Decor is very well too!

- Creativity: 9/10. I really like how you did more than the average snow track, like the platform, and like I mentioned earlier all the decor looks really well placed!

- Music: 5/5. I'm not crying, YOU ARE!!

- Readability: 10/10. Every color is perfectly indicatable, well done!

- Gameplay: 12/15. I think it's a bit shortcut heavy, but it plays really well!! Even some cuts can be done shroomless with the boost pads, very fun.

Overall score: 43/50 (5 stars), you did really good for a semi-standard theme.
comments In YoshiCrafter Glacier on 2025-11-11 at 04:21:02
- Design: 5/10. It certainly works for a Town map, but it still just lacks. There's a useless item box route too.

- Creativity: 5/10. I mean I guess the buildings give it the benefit of the doubt, but its still weak.

- Music: 2/5. It's a really shitty Daisy Hills remix using that inaccurate MIDI from VGMusic. Does not fit the map.

- Readability: 8/10. I can read it pretty well, but in the buildings, the offroad is barely darker and doesn't look like offroad enough.

- Gameplay: 8/15. It's alright to play on, but never my first pick.

Overall score: 28/50 (3 stars). You've had better tracks, Nodac.
comments In Toad Town on 2025-11-11 at 04:12:45
- Design: 5/10. Pretty generic, and doesn't look like a stadium all that much. More of an N64 Raceway.

- Creativity: 5/10. Not really anything that makes the map stand out. Just another basic circuit.

- Music: 5/5. Still a great music pick for the map. I like Panman14 music!

- Readability: 10/10. Thankfully, you still made it easy to read.

- Gameplay: 9/15. It's decent to play at least, although there's a weird shroomless cut that I don't like. Also I don't like the monty mole holes being trickable.

Overall score: 34/50 (4 stars). Not your best work, but it works for a generic theming.
