He made a track so excellent, even his homies complimented him

That said, one bad track doesn't ruin your image, keep building, hop!

Unfortunately not as good as your recent tracks, there's a lack of entertaining gameplay that is just so apparent

This is a neat track, but I feel like it's really got nothing going on to add that factor of fun. That one obstacle or turn that says what the track is, that's missing. Other than that 5/5, but 4/5 with that in mind.

there's not enough walls to prevent skipping checkpoints, everywhere is basically a shortcut. try to add more walls or intentional shortcuts that you can go through without skipping cp, making checkpoints bigger is one way to do this, as it allows for more ground to be covered.

This is the beginning so if I make it big you can all look at this crude work as my first stumblings in the dark

Good track. The corners provide a very precise obstacle that requires technique to maneuver, I'm thinking about verifying haxor, it's certainly not harder than quick quick mts

This track is really boring. I've played less impressive tracks like max kart world's box gap and it was more fun to time trial because of layout. Layout is very important for good tracks, but when people try to create layouts in QM, it looks like they aren't even thinking. 1/5, I've been wanting see more from QM these days.

Why would you remake one of the most boring tracks in GBA... and remove the shortcut...?
comments In Luigi Circuit on 2025-11-16 at 20:50:05
Fair enough. Tone is lost in text, so it must be inferred. Responding to your comment below, there is something that you should take into account, called "player input". It is basically the practice of paying attention to what people who play your tracks say about them, and what you should improve on, what they liked, didn't like, etc. This is not to discredit your own opinion, but getting multiple viewpoints broadens your perspective on making (a) good track(s).

The track isn't good and you shouldn't deflect criticism from people who are trying to give you chances to make it better. You will fail as a track creator this way, or any creator for that matter.
comments In Luigi Pipeway on 2025-11-11 at 19:21:08
Pipe is not a bad theme. No theme can be inherently "bad". You just have to make do with what you get. And if your output isn't as good as others, it's okay, you tried your best with a theme that didn't suit you as much. Giving up however, is entirely within your control, and this format is normally forbidden when it comes to contests BECAUSE it's so lackluster. No matter if you did or did not try, it looks like you didn't, and if you care, you'll come back at the task once more.
comments In Luigi Pipeway on 2025-11-09 at 18:24:41
Well, yes, always try to differentiate. But The pipes don't serve as an interesting challenge, coming from a competitive player. And I don't mean it's not "hard" it doesn't have to be "hard", but it isn't interesting in my opinion, so the tracks concept is bland. That's why complete mode will always be better, because you can do so much more with it, and it's not that much harder to operate than QM. It's slightly more complex, I'll say.
