Well, I have Pokemon X and Y, Pokemon Sun and Moon, and Pokemon Sword. I could help him with expanding the series like that. And, I can use Jemu to Use Pokemon Black or White!
Yes, Black and White IS Gen 5.
Yeah I can play gen 5 fine although there may be a tiny amount of lag but it should be good

I can't run 3DS games (computer's not good enough and I don't have the required system files for Citra) and I have no way of recording my switch

gonna have to soft reset to get pichu from the odd egg if I want it early game but shrug
although that DOES mean better shiny odds since it is the odd egg... so maybe you'll end up being shiny?
