The project is not dead yet, and the development will be resumed soon.
From now on, the next demos and the final version will be released as my new videogame studio: Checkmydontuferna Entertainment. Here is the studio's web page, it's almost empty right now but I'll make sure to make it pretty in the next days! Thanks for your support.

Thank you all for your support! Answering some of your questions:
This is not on Nintendo Switch Online. Yeah, i know this was a joke but whatever. I suppose you can play the romhack on Switch, BTW. If someone can test it on a modded Switch that would be great!
I'll only change the format to a patch if an admin from GameBanana comes and asks me to do that (wich didn't happened with any of the other mods uploaded there). Even if Nintendo itself comes to me (i doubt it a lot), i'll keep thinking that it's unfair for the modders to add more steps to the installation even if your mod is free and you give credit to Nintendo
