In the middle of Goombandit Desert, there was a light blue Toad called Toadavius Shroomman, but the others called him Dave. He came to this desert because he wanted to do an expedition here, but nobody wanted to go here and the Mario Brothers were already busy with another adventure. He was sweating from the heat as he ran out of water.

Dave: Oof... Why didn't I decide to cancel this expedition since nobody wanted to join? I wonder if I will make it out alive?

As he continued his path, he noticed a green pipe nearly buried by the sand.

Dave: Huh? A pipe? I think I'll take a look inside, as this is probably my only way to survive...

The mushroom person then jumped into the pipe, hoping to leave this place for good. However, he splashed immediately into water.

Dave: Water? In the middle of the desert?

He decided to take a drink of the water, as he had no other option because he was thirsty.

Dave: It's even good!?

He then swam deep inside the water to find another pipe. It wasn't easy, as there were some Cheep Cheeps in his way. He finally found a second pipe.

Dave: Let's hope this pipe brings me back home...

He then got out of the pipe only to find out he was back in the same desert. He saw an arrow sign written "This way: Pokey Town" on it nearby.

Dave: I should follow the arrow. I hope I am welcomed here...

As he started to go the way the arrow sign pointed, he suddenly was face to face with three creatures that were similar to Goombas, but were wearing a Spiny shell on each of their heads. One of them noticed the Toad.

Goombandit: Hey! You're not supposed to be here! This is private property! Get lost!

Dave avoided the three Goombandits, entered a brick castle and locked the door to prevent his pursuers to chase him.

Dave: Geez, those guys were rude... I wonder how Pokey Town looks like?

He then got out of the castle by the other door. The Goombandit patrol noticed him and ran toward him. The light blue Toad decided to knock them out. He then walked straight to find Pokey Town. There was one Pokey welcoming him.

Pokey Town Guide: Welcome to Pokey Town! It's a calm, little desert town. Not many people come visit this place since Goombandit Desert is a private colony of the Goombandits...

Dave: I see...

Pokey Town Guide: What brings you here anyway?

Dave: Well... I've read some books about this place. It apparently was owned by the Mushroom Kingdom a long time ago, but it didn't really tell any details about it...

Pokey Town Guide: Oh! You're into history I see! Have a tour around the town. The first house is where a mother and kid reside, we're not sure about the father... The second house is a shop, you can find some power-ups here. The final house is where the Elder resides, he know a lot about the history of this place.

Dave decided to enter the family's house first, because he wanted to meet some ordinary residents before meeting important ones. There were two Pokeys: a small one and a female one. The small Pokey noticed him first.

LP: Hi! My name is Little Pokey, or LP for short. You must be one of the mushroom guys that the Elder knew about!

Dave: Uhhh... Maybe he knew about the Toads that lived here years ago... But not me, I'm not one of them...

LP: Mommy look! A mushroom guy from the Elder's story came into our home!

LP's mother turned around to look at Dave. She was a bit surprised, but she decided to greet him.

LP's Mother: Hello, what is your name?

Dave: My name is Toadavius Shroomman, but the other Toads call me Dave.

LP's Mother: Pleasure to meet you. Are you visiting our town?

Dave: Yes, and I must continue my visit. Bye!

The mushroom man left the house and went for the shop. There was a sign written "Pokey Town Item Shop. DO NOT eat the frog suits!!!" on it. He entered the shop. There was a Pokey with red eyes wearing a green cap inside. He saw Dave and greeted him like any Shopkeeper would do.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: Hello and welcome to my shop! What would you like?

Dave looked at the items that were on sale: super mushrooms, fire flowers, super leaves, frog suits, 1-up mushrooms, p switchs, POW blocks, trampolines and different kind of blocks.

Dave: I'll take a fire flower, please.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: That will be 4 coins.

Dave gave 4 coins to the shopkeeper and got a fire flower. He put the flower in his pockets, just in case any other problems was in front of him. Dave left the item shop.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: Have a nice day! Oh, and if you see a Goombandit, tell them that frog suits aren't food!

Dave then entered the Elder's house. There was a Pokey wearing a Spiny shell on their head and a very tall Pokey that looked very old. The one with the Spiny shell noticed him first.

Pokey Town Guard 1: Hello. Are you there to hear about the Elder's "bedtime" stories?

Dave: If you mean this by the story about this place, then yes.

Dave approached the Elder of Pokey Town. The old Pokey looked at him and greeted him.

Pokey Town Elder: Hello young Toad, do you want to listen to one of my stories?

Dave: Sure! I need to know more about this place!

Pokey Town Elder: Alright. A long time ago, Toads used to live in this desert back when the Mushroom Kingdom owned it. One day, the Goombandits arrived and saw the Toads being nice to the Pokeys that lived here. The Goombandits decided to make an alliance with the Toads. A few weeks after the alliance was signed, the Goombandits betrayed the Toads and declared war. During the war, the Goombandits bombarded the Toads' temple, killing Shroom Desert's ruler in the process. Without their leader, the Toads decided to surrender, thus the Goombandits won the war. Shroom Desert's name changed into Goombandit Desert and one of the things that is left from the Shroom Desert era is the ruins of the temple. What do you think of this story?

Dave: This explains everything to me!

Pokey Town Elder: Glad you liked my story. Come back another day if you want to hear another of my stories.

Dave left the Elder's house and noticed a fountain with a purple pipe that was hanging on top of the fountain like a sink. There was another Pokey guard that was looking at the fountain.

Pokey Town Guard 2: The Water Pipe is malfunctioning again... They haven't come to fix it yet... I can't just do that myself, I can't fit in this stupid pipe!

Dave: Is there anything wrong?

Pokey Town Guard 2: Yeah. The water isn't coming down from the Water Pipe, so we cannot drink water until the Goombandits come here to fix the problem... Wait, you seem to be able to fit in that pipe! Do you think you could fix it yourself?

Dave: Sure, I'll try!

The light blue Toad then entered a pipe next to the Water Pipe. He wandered around the canals, shooting Koopas with his fire flower. He then noticed an opening in a pipe.

Dave: So this must be the problem!

Dave then grabbed a tool that was on the floor and fixed the pipe. He got a bit wet in the process, but the water is now flowing through the pipes! He went back outside the pipe to see the Water Pipe full of water. The Pokey Guard was bouncing in joy.

Pokey Town Guard 2: Great Job, you fixed the Water Pipe! We can finally get water again! Thank you so much!

Dave smiled, but he was more worried than happy. He wasn't sure how he could come back home, as there wasn't any airport nearby and it was in the middle of night. He went back inside the Pokey family's house.

LP's Mother: You're back! Need anything?

Dave: I need some sleep, because I'm too sleepy to search for an airport and it's too dark outside...

LP's Mother: Sure! There is a second bed in my child's room. It used to be in my room, but since my husband is gone, it's now for guests.

LP: Yay! We have a guest that will sleep in our home!

Dave entered LP's room. There is a trampoline near one bed and a table with a chair near another bed. LP entered the room and laid down on the bed near the trampoline, so Dave had to lay down on the other bed.

LP: Nighty night, Dave!

Dave: Goodnight, LP!

They both fall asleep. Dave was dreaming of seeing his friends again.

This fic is going to be based off of Super Mario Maker 2 Levels made by me and YoshiLOVER!

There is going to be a lot of episodes (1 level = 1 episode) separated by stories (example: Story 1, Episode 1)

The first story is going to be 2 episodes long.

The second story is 40 episodes long.

The third story is going to be 38 episodes long.

The fourth story is going to be 5 episodes long.

The fifth story is going to be 3 episodes long.

The sixth story is going to be 6 episodes long.

The seventh story is going to be 5 episodes long.

The eighth (25 levels) and ninth (4 levels) stories are going to be 38 episodes long each. It is YoshiLOVER's decision to release his levels so I could see how the story goes.

Any opinions about the number of episodes?

Edit: Some stories are going to have pilot episodes that aren't based off of levels and are going to explain the plot of the story.
