Scratch

Sadly I'm too lazy to get started, so I'll quit being a concept maker

On 2024-08-20 at 03:34:07
I'll be a concept maker!
Anyways my concept for a part 3 of redpikmin's little games that could be merged into one game will be a usual underground adventure to search for the treasure that makes all the color briefly wash out, then the color will come back, this time becoming vivid, everyone who tried to get it would fail and end up perishing, but scratch cat would be fully ready to tackle the super deadly journey.
The name of the game will be "the super deadly underground journey", the difficulty would be out of the roof with it's way too difficult & too ruthful amount of traps to prevent the player from making it to the end, the adventure is still a platformer, so you just go through the super ruthful journey to reach the treasure.
Even though the game would be so difficult and really ruthful, it would almost become impossible to beat it, so let's consider this concept as the last part instead of as a 3rd part.

When we reach 20 curators we will make plans for our MKPC Scratch Platformer, we will be discussing characters, levels, bosses, game mechanics and anything else that’s brought to the table
We can actually discuss them now but like we’ll be deciding which of those will be in the game innit
We can actually discuss them now but like we’ll be deciding which of those will be in the game innit
If it features just using a stick and a jump button, you should use griffpatch's multi touch joystick for mobile support, or make a button for attacking if that ends up in-game.

If this topic dies, I'm gonna nut.
Here's 6 sites that probably should not be missed out on:
Pico-8
PictoChat
Japanese Animated Film Classics
Online Sequencer
Sonic Momentum
BeepBox
Now i know how to do a hyperlink!
Now when i change my profile picture??????????
I already know where to change it, but I'd rather use a insert website address for image retrieval
Edit: twilight already linked Maxwell World before i did, so i replaced it with something else: a browser port of PictoChat! Also the Sonic Momentum link no longer worked, so i replaced it with the normal info page on GX Games. As well as a 6th (A.K.A 2nd Music Maker) link: BeepBox!

Share your mario maker 2 courses & super worlds!
On 2024-06-30 at 13:14:46
Rules in this topic:
Your course can be on the default length (better with 2 sections) but don't make it shorter than that!
A id for the course, maker or super world must be given, if you have at least 1 empty slot left to use up, please show the id once the level is completely finished, if the level ends up cancelled, please remove the currently developing level from your reply.
Your super world must have at least 2 different types in each world of your super world, like my currently published one.
Your super world must also have at least 3 level spaces used up in each world (if you have lotsa great levels).
You can't make straight line levels with absolutely nothing, be creative on level design and think of a genius way!
Your levels must be made by you, also make sure that your smm2 avatar name is also your entire 10 letter username or under, or shorten your longer one to fit the 10 letter limit if necessary.
1 more rule: you must make sure the rules in mkpc & smm2 are followed...
Wow i think i would put extra rules but I'll end it there i guess...
Also if you want to see my maker (YourBoySi, now MarioMan™ so i can possibly make my mega man style game inspired by one level popular), here's me: 31C-CRJ-LRG
Not gonna share a course/super world id bc I'm lazy so just enter my profile and boot up the super world or try out one of my courses outside the super world!
Anyways Have fun sharing your levels!

no
EDIT: Why did you facepalm I'm reporting a useless topic...
Uhhhhhhh this topic isn't useless, did you know that super Mario maker 2 exists? It's a real game, if you own it, you should share your courses if you can.
Since i think a few other topics reference mario maker, this topic is intended to share your course id, not consider it useless, the rules in this topic must be followed, ok?

The topic should literally be renamed that way for 1 whole day, with the first reply (from the topic creator automatically sent when making a topic) mentioning to "beat everyone up"

Gimmick! 2
On 2024-07-19 at 09:01:32
(Unfortunately every time i try making a news topic, my browser freezes. So it's on the forum section instead, sorry for this inconvenience)
this little thingimagig topic is about an upcoming sunsoft game for consoles (i currently only saw nintendo upload a video about it).
The game in question is......
Here's the trailer of it on nintendo of america's youtube channel:
But what is Gimmick! 2? Well it's an official sequel to an originally Japan and Scandinavia only game Gimmick!
Developer Q&A:
Q: Who do you play as?
A: the playable character is a green Kirby-like (fun fact: Gimmick! Came out before Kirby's Dream Land!) called Yumetarō.
Q: Is the original developer of the first game involved in this one too?
A: the developer of the first game, Tomomi Sakai, was involved with the first game, they, for some odd reason, are not involved with the sequel unfortunately, which ultimately led the developers to throw in a little apology note on twitter for his absence.
Q: who was the original composer of the first one then the sequel?
A: the composer of the first game is Masashi Kageyama with the expansion chip: the Sunsoft 5B, meanwhile, the music in the second game are remixes (and possibly even original songs) of the first game's themes, these remixes are made by David Wise.
Little fun fact: there's 3 more gimmick stuff than just the 2 games i covered here, Gimmick! Exact★Mix, an arcade remake of the first game for EXA Arcadia machines, with remixes like Gimmick! 2, & Gimmick! Special Edition, a slightly enhanced port on modern consoles from the original, featuring a trademark Speedrun Mode, where you beat the game as fast as possible, as well as many other features like a Rewind mode incase you make a little mistake.
Ok that's all the Q&A, what do you think of the game?
(Please don't consider this a useless topic, it's part of the various discussions part of the forums, also the developer Q&A does not mean I'm part of the game's development, the devs at sunsoft gave me these questions to share here)
