Today's Pokémon Presents.
On 2026-03-02 at 05:38:06
Today, February 27, 2026, is pokemon day. This also marks Pokemon's 30th anniversary. As per usual on Pokémon day, Pokémon released a Pokémon presents, or basically a nintendo direct but just for Pokémon. Here is a rundown of everything that was in it. IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS, LEAVE NOW. because I dont feel like putting all of this in a spoiler and making the text smaller. Also, please note that this is not in order of the actual presentation.
1. New TCG set
As far as I know, this is basically the 25th anniversary set again.
2. Updates to mobile games.
A new set in TCG pocket that came out a day or two ago, a code in pokemon go (I dont remeber what it was), updates to café remix and pokemon sleep, as well as Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and all of the gen 2 starters are coming to Pokemon Unite. New things in Masters EX (idk what it was since I've never played that game), and something about Pokémon Champions, another game i have never played.
3. A new event at the world championships.
I dont really fully understand this one, but I think it will just make the world championships better. I dont know though because the only world championships I've been to have been livestreams of them.
4. More news about Pokopia
This game kinda seems like a pokemon themed Minecraft clone, but it seems interesting and I might get it. It releases on March 5, and will have multiplayer and has a cool room form that will let you select music.
5. A red/blue music player
Modeled after the game boy, it will have a ton of different cartridges, each with a unique song from the original games. If it isnt too expensive, I might get it because I like pokemon music way too much.
Edit: I just googled it, and this will be 70 DOLLARS. im probably not getting this. I can probably find that music on youtube.
6. More news about fire red and leaf green.
They basically just said that you will be able to use these with pokemon home, which seems epic. They are 20 dollars each, which I think is a bit much, so I probably wont be getting both of theese, but maybe just one.
7. A new game in classics.
They are adding Pokemon XD Gale Of Darkness to the GameCube classics for ns2 with the online expansion pack. I dont have nintendo switch online, so this wont really affect me.
8. Mega garchomp z
They just said that in the legends za mega dimension dlc there is now a mega garchomp z, which I thought was already a thing.
9. Winds and waves.
Oh goodness... I smell some complaining... they announced Winds and waves, which lots of people already knew about from leaks. We saw some footage, and it looks like pokemon scarlet and violet with slightly more realistic graphics. I thought it looked like a good game overall- WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2027? Yeah. They are making us wait another year. And dont even get me started on the starter pokemon revealed to us. They are low key terrible compared to the other starters. . They are like 1 or 2 colors each. First we have browt, the grass type, which just looks like a miscolored angry bird. Next is the fire starter, Pombon, who is an extremely fluffy dog. And finally, the water one, my personal favorite as of now, named Gecqua, who is just a lizard and looks like someone combined sobble with froakie and changed the colors slightly. Overall, it looks like they just picked 2 random shades of each starter types color and drew some random shapes. It's not like they are bad starters, but they just aren't nearly as good as any set of starters.
Anyways, thats about everything that was revealed to us today. Let me know your opinions or if I forgot to include something in here.

1. Browt analogy is mostly accurate
2. Pombon is specifically a Pomeranian, and easily the Winds and Waves starter of choice for me.
3. Gecqua looks more like Froakie if it were a Digimon, definitely NOT picking this one when I get the game
Idk Browt is my least favourite, it kinda just feels like Rowlet 2. Definitely leaning towards Pombon, he's awesome, but it really depends on what they evolve into. Gecqua is also quite similar to Froakie so Pombon does seem like the best option but we'll see what happens when we get more info. POMBON BETTER STAY ON FOUR LEGS I'M WATCHING YOU GAME FREAK
actually I feel like Pombon's final evolution could be something awesome, like Litten with Incineroar

1CPU Drift
On 2026-02-18 at 03:27:16
When i make a track, i want the CPUS to drift sometimes... is there a way to make them drift if that's possible?🫤
no, thats gonna be probably 5 days of useless coding for wargor, it doesn't benefit in anyway.
It would add a bit of difficulty, and CPUs already hop over off-road and small holes/the ghost valley shortcuts, so all that'd be necessary is to add a couple lines of code that make it happen on higher difficulty, and on turns.
Regardless, CPU drift isn't necessary to add no matter how easy it might be to code.
do you want them to be harder to play against? what other upsides are there to this aside from visually looking cool i guess?
Are they really that hard to begin with?

On 2026-02-04 at 12:34:44
whats that?
Eurovision is a tournament held in European Cities, where most of the most popular singers from Europe (Australia ,Israel, and Morooco) stage their latest songs. And at the end of the round voters vote for the winners.
(Sorry if the info is bland, I’m not from Europe so I don’t really pay that much attention to the heavy details.)
Not to be a bum but Eurovision also includes Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia

Mario Kart: Super Circuit is one of the best Mario Kart games
I don't entirely disagree. It's not the best, but it's pretty good. Controls weren't the best, but there was no control stick on the GBA. Track designs and general creativity, however, were spot on. Rainbow Road and Sky Garden (before the Touring) are incredible tracks.

Mario kart 7 is very underrated
It's not a bad game but I can't get over how very simple things were cut like VS Mode, or Waluigi, although characters don't matter as much, it's still really weird to have Wario but not Waluigi
MK7 is NOT fucking overrated bro it's the second best game in the series behind Wii and everyone knows it
He said underrated...
I misspoke

Why do y'all hate on Koopa Beach 2? It's a fun track with a cool gimmick, and y'all hate on it just 'cause of Off-Road
Same reason we hate on CI2.
ci2 isn't that bad
If you have mushrooms, maybe.

I think Mario Kart World is the worst Mario kart game. It costs 80 dollars and it is mostly Straight Line Simulator.
I don't think the game itself should be judged for the pricing. You can not buy a game if it costs too much, which is reasonable, but I don't think that should factor into the analysis of the game itself. Also you can just not play intermissions usually except in online, and even then it's not that bad with 24 people causing chaos. Yes, 3 lap tracks are much better, but intermissions are overhated imo
that, and you can also just not do intermissions and have 3-lap races with VS mode

Sky-High Sundae is a good track tbh
It's definitely better in World, but it sucks hot ass in 8DX and Tour.

Share your opinions about preferably the official Mario Kart games or if you want to MKPC.
I'll start: With the loop-de-loop and corkscrew before antigrav was introduced that are present in DS RR, Nintendo totally should've done that Rainbow Road as the Lightning Cup final instead of N64. It would've worked perfectly in antigrav, and I'm sure that it would just have been cooler than N64 Rainbow Road to begin with.
