Aside from the typical and utterly stupid words along the lines of "get better" or "skill issue", there's more behind it, the GP is made to be a challenge, letting people choose the difficulty and adjust it would ruin the whole point, you'd unlock Link with no effort (the easy CPUs on this game are really really easy tbh) and there would be almost no satisfaction. So it's not even a skill issue now, it's just a very bad idea.

Stop complaining. Wargor developed this game all by himself. Stop being so annoyed with it because it's easy to beat the CPUs, stop complaining when you can just get good. It's easier than asking a busy person. And plus, fangame or not, it's a game. Wargor made the game, not you. Let him do the updates. Stop. Complaining.
