What's the point of the Peel-Out? The back part of it makes you brake, because it's in a figure-eight shape.

(Also you keep the speed unlike the spin dash + when time traveling its disavantage is nullified (its also slighty faster)
I think CD might be better than Mania as the best Sonic game.
