Doesn't improve shit frankly, unless your entire design philosophy for anything is higher quality = more better. But that's how you make a soulless game, one without a style or anything to make it memorable. This game is not made as "the most more better mario kart game ever!!11111 UHD 4K 120fps you literally need 100gb of storage to install this game and a $11037 gpu" it's what it is. Nothing's particularly impressive about MKPC and it's going to stay that way whether you like it or not. Can you let a game be fucking good? MKPC's sound design is already super inconsistent but this would be going way too far. We are not missing out on SHIT by having different mp3 files in different places. If it bothers you soooo much, go set up a local override. I think we've all heard it, there's no need to post the fucking sound effect in this topic. People are not so clueless that they can't just look it up and realise oh fuck that wouldn't work or just be people who know about Mario Kart games playing Mario Kart ganes


If this game was based on SMK, King Boo, Wario, Daisy, Shy Guy, Petey Piranha, Hammer Bro and Link won't be in this game!

They used the Mario Kart 64 lap sound which I wish it will be replaced by the lap sound in Mario Kart 8 and 8 Deluxe.


SMK does not have a lap sound so they used MK64 lap sound it's how it was and will never change.


Yeah, yeah, we know, the lap sound from another game makes more sense.

Some sounds need to be changed.

Signal start will be how it is in Mario Kart Wii.
Item reel will be how it is in Mario Kart DS.
Lap sound effect will be how it is in Mario Kart 8 and 8 Deluxe.
Final lap will be how it is in Mario Kart DS.

The mud present in Wario Stadium uses the Choco off-road type (which is the same off-road used on both Choco Island and Sunset Wilds), for Cheese Land and Yoshi Desert they seems to use the basic off-road type (Grass I think)
