Question: Why did the course icons for the Booster Course Pass Wave 1 courses are now slightly brighter than at launch (with the exception of Ninja Hideaway, which is now slightly darker instead)?

Make it more vibrant for the darker tracks and to keep the lighting relatively the same throughout so on the selection menu no one part is too bright.

do you unlock characters by getting 1st place on the grand prixs?
If you want to know, to get about half the characters, you get trophies in the main grand prix cups, and to get the rest, you have to get trophies in custom track multicups.
oh, ok. thanks. I was doing the normal cups but couldn't unlock the others; I thought I just didn't do it enough times or smth

I don't have either of those DLCs, but the one in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe quite literally DOUBLES the amount of content in the game, and the one in Mario Kart 8 adds four new cups and a few characters. I would get the 8 Deluxe DLC.

i guess it makes sense, but like luckychloefort8 said, all the little kids talk exactly the same. my friend's brother has a group chat that if you didn't know they were different people, you'd think it was just one person talking.
