Le Championnat d'Europe de football 2020, officiellement UEFA Euro 2020, est la seizième édition du Championnat d'Europe de football, organisée par l'Union des associations européennes de football (UEFA).
Pour le soixantième anniversaire de la première édition du tournoi, la Coupe d'Europe des nations 1960, et pour la première fois de son histoire, il n'est pas organisé par un ou deux pays mais doit l'être aux quatre coins d'Europe, par des villes hôtes sélectionnées, soit dans 11 villes de 11 pays, les demi-finales et la finale ayant lieu au stade de Wembley à Londres.
Le format est le suivant:
La phase de groupe, qui débute le 11 juin, répartie les 24 équipes en 6 groupes de 4 équipes. Les équipes affrontent les autres membres de leur groupe une fois chacun. Une victoire rapporte 3 points, un match nul 1 point et une défaite 0 point. Les deux premiers de chaque groupe ainsi que les quatre meilleurs troisièmes se qualifient pour la phase à élimination directe de la compétition, à partir des huitièmes de finale. La finale aura lieu le 11 juillet.

The 2020 UEFA European Championship, or simply Euro 2020, is the 16th UEFA European Championship, organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The tournament is scheduled from 11 June to 11 July 2021, and it is hosted in 11 cities in 11 UEFA countries as a "romantic" one-off event to celebrate the 60th "birthday" of the European Championship competition. Having the largest capacity of any of the stadiums entered for the competition, Wembley Stadium in London is scheduled to host the semi-finals and final.
The format is the following:
The group stage, which starts June 11th, seed the 24 teams into 6 groups of 4 teams. Each team will play the other 3 in it's group once each. A win gives 3 points, a tie gives 1 point, a loss gives 0 point. The top 2 teams from each group, alongside the 4 best 3rd ranked teams, qualify for the tournament's knockout stage, which starts with the round of 16.
The final will be hosted in London July 11th.

Le match Danemark-Finlande a été mis en pause pendant 2 heures à cause du malaise d'Eriksen sur le terrain. Heureusement, il a pu être sauvé grâce à l'intervention des médecins et se repose désormais dans un hôpital à Copenhague. Les deux équipes se sont mises d'accord pour terminer le match, and cela a fini par une victoire 1-0 pour la Finlande, ce qui constitue leur première victoire de leur histoire dans une compétition majeure de football, sachant qu'il s'agissait de leur tout premier match!

The match Denmark-Finland was put in paused for 2 hours after 40 minutes of play due to Eriksen collapsing on the ground. Happily, he was saved due to the use of CPR and is now taking rest in an hospital in Copenhagen. Both teams agreed to continue the game, and it ended 1-0 for Finland, which is their first ever victory in their first ever game in a major football event!
