Yes its something difficult, it cost me a little to pass it

What I recommend is:
Practice in Time Trials with Daisy
Learn to Drift
Know where and when use items
See the records of others in time trials to learn shortcuts
I think the DS special cup is the most difficult

Vous avez aussi eu ce sentiment ? Les CPU sont touchés moins que vous.

I have to agree, the only Grand Prixs I have been able to get above 4th place in are my own. And even on my own grand prixs, made up of my tracks only, The CPUS still beat me. On my own tracks. Pretty embarassing :$

I have had to explain this many times. So, let's go through this again:

Why are the CPUs so difficult to beat?
Immediately set to Difficult, severe rubberbanding (They gain speed if you're too far ahead); set route that prevents them from ever hitting offroad and ignoring all types of "special" road (This is what makes DS Bowser's Castle the hardest track in GPs, they drive over the moving floors like normal track)

Is this fair?
I agree this is extremely unfair, but there is a reason for this. A harsh difficulty spike is one of the most effective, if not cruellest, methods of getting players to improve. I have drawn parallels to Diddy Kong Racing before and the first battle with Wizpig, and I will do it again because that's an example of this sort of spike. It forces players to master the game to beat it, and that's the idea here.

Okay, but how do you beat them without relying on good item luck?

Sadly, good item luck is part of the game, we can't avoid that. :( But there are a couple of ways to make the races easier.
The first is sandbagging, deliberately staying in the lower ranks for most of the race to get a strong item, then carry them to first. Rubberbanding only affects you when you're in first, so only get to first at the end.
Second, take advantage of a flaw in the CPUs. They don't drift at all. Meaning they'll always be at the same speed the entire race. So if you can get enough mini turbos out, then you can outspeed them. So time for every pro players' competitive crutch, Daisy. She can get the boosts pretty quickly and her high handling just makes her a safe choice for avoiding obstacles. Get used to using her and every track should be somewhat easier.

I know I went on for far too long, but I hope this helps anyone seeing this topic.

I think so, on some tracks the cpus are easy to beat
I think it depends on the width of the track

We can snake like in MKDS. You just drift left and right simultaneously in a straight line to perform a snake although this depends on space because tracks like SNES Rainbow Road and DS Rainbow Road is tracks where you almost can't snake at all and as for bagging, it depends on tracks and most of the time, is not worth it especially front running and heavily skilled tracks like SNES Rainbow Road and DS Rainbow Road and some other tracks but luck tracks and heavily shortcut based tracks, is very worth it to bag for very powerful items.

there should be a thing where you get to change the difficulty like in other games because I made the worst character in the game and I used it and got last and when the grand Prix bots were using it got second place. (I got first)

Guys, can you avoid reviving old topics ?
But like I said precedently, just get focused on become better. I actually get better since I take a step on this website, so just learn how to snake, and use this :

Click here to become a pro

I know, that's hard, but now I get better, I beat all the Grand Prix and get all the gold cups. So I just can said Good luck.

If Im being honest, to me the high difficulty makes it more demotivating than anything, I mean after getting silver 4 times in a row I just dont wanna try anymore. I know I suck a lot but still

Being honest, I don't really see your problem here. I've made, like, a character with TERRIBLE stats, and yet, I still manage to get 1st in what seems to be a really tight and fast track. Is it just because I play on 150cc or is this some sort of update? hap

Which track we're you playing on ? Plus the CPUs are annoying and unfair... I mean it comes from a man that used to do painful and endless tries to just got a good cup lmao also it would be more fine if they didn't take the moving ground as a normal Road and little stuff x details like these
