I have seen lot's of people use paint net for tracks, when I tried using it, it didn't go well. Can anyone give me any tips for using paint.net?

I recommend starting with a 1500x1500 canvas, using Line/Curve for the layout, with a width of 50-64 pixels (it depends on your preference), and a length of about 2 minutes assuming you don't RD. This topic has a lot of tips on how to make good visuals on paint.net. It might seem overwhelming, but it teaches the techniques somewhat clearly.
Another thing is you should take inspiration from the best paint.net creators, and if you are confused about something, don't be afraid to DM them about it, not everyone likes to respond to DMs, but most will probably respond, myself included.
Paint.Net will take quite some time to learn, my first few tracks wtih it was quite bad. So don't be disappointed if it doesn't work immediately.
