Ps4 not connecting to steering wheel

I am currently trying to get my logitech wingman formula force gp steering wheel to connect to ps4.
I have a working wheel (it works  on my pc) and a working ps4 but it is not showing up in game or working. help

1. Leave your system off and connect your steering wheel to the usb port on the console and the usb microphone port on your controller.

2.Turn on your system from the power button (controller off).
