Is it possible to play split screen mario kart 8 on pc through retroarch

I was wondering if you could play mario kart 8 on pc with split screen with retroarch because I know how to navigate around the menu and I dont want to learn how to do so for some other emulator. If someone knows or has personal experience then please comment on smash karts how to do it or if it is even possible.

I don't really know much about emulators, but this message will up this topic, maybe people who knows about them better will be able to help.

Retroarch to my knowledge doesn't have any Wii U or Switch cores so you're best getting Cemu for the Wii U version or Yuzu for the Switch version. I've used Yuzu myself it's really not hard to figure out
