What makes a good time trialing track?

Just wondering what others' opinions are.

Personally, I like tracks with a lot of skip opportunities.

One that flows well in terms of turns and has a few opportunities for more skilled, yet not annoying tricks. Not having many cannons is helpful too, which is why I tend to avoid them.

You should also have at least one spot where it's faster to shroom there than anywhere else, otherwise you won't know where to use them.
