Personally, I'm really into 13th and 14th century Mongolia, the Muromachi period and the Spanish Empire. Honorable mentions are the Cold War, the French Revolution and the Qing Dynasty.
Yeah, the Cold War was quite an interesting time in history. It’s crazy to think that just 40 years ago the threat of nuclear war was real, and we came close to it multiple times. The space race is also interesting as well.
