Gosh ! This topic is filled with arguments. I guess we should close the debate.

I’ve came up with a new fanfic idea, but it has some issues. Now I know I’ve said this before and I didn’t go through with it but that’s because I thought my ideas were to similar to other people’s fanfics. The idea I have for this one is simple after the apocalypse happens 4 different factions are fighting for control of the region they live in. I don’t have all the factions figured out yet but I have ideas for 2 different ones. Faction 1 wishes to preserve the culture, traditions and history of the world before the apocalypse, I’m not certain yet but I feel that they should be ruled by a monarch of sorts. Faction 2 is quite the opposite of faction 1, they love the freedom the apocalyptic world gives them. Rather then trying to return to the old world like faction 1 they just want to live the way they are. These two factions will probably not get along well, seeing as they disagree on many many things. I haven’t came up with ideas for factions 3 and 4 yet but I may just scrap them and only have 2. I still feel like my idea is too similar to others. I remember a apocalypse fanfic from a while back, and many other people have written fanfics about different factions fighting. So I may just scrap this. Anyways if you have any ideas for the factions, or anything about the fanfic please let me know. It’s only a 50/50 chance I write this though. I really do want to write a good fanfic that’s why I’m worried about originality and my writing skills, hopefully this goes well.
Oh and I forgot to mention this earlier when I was describing the factions, but you are able to chose which faction you’d like to be a part of. And both factions are obviously subject to change.
