The problem with MKPC

Hello everyone,
i may be arrived just a fews days ago, but... I'd like to put here my opinion on the BIGGEST problems of MKPC.
1) All of the applications for expanding game like for: Youtube, Wikipedia and moderation are completely dead when this is supposed to be the perfect time to reopen them; now i know this is NOT an official game and it's ok that it's not that much popular like every other MK game but just even try to give a chance to who just found out the game and is willing to help the game become bigger.
2) I'm sorry to say it but the topics are so MESSED UP; what i'm saying is that there's literally hundreds of topics where people literally write useless things and MORE people complains about all new things that happens, that's not cool you know...
3) Rules? Admins? Do they like exist here?
4) I'll accept ALL the next replies that will appear here BUT PLEASE DON'T BE TOXIC! That's the worst thing that can appear in communities.
I don't have solutions to improve for now, but if you like want help from me I'll do my best.

Yeah its too late to say that. But that true. A big part of the community is very young. And that very common to see someone very young that didn't read the rules. Like I don't have to say the name. For the rules, they exist, I think you might say that not every people respect it?
In my opinion rules should be the FIRST thing that need to appear on forums and since i didn't saw anything yet (even in official topics) i can't say i had read the rules you know...
I do understand your point of view, but shoving the rules in the face of someone who just arrived sounds a bit brutal. Maybe I should continue the guide I made back then and do a part about that. Tbh I think it's one of the first things you need to read, like you can surf around for 2 minutes and look what it's like and then read the rules after a couple of minutes.
Ok it's a good idea, but if this guy already do damage in those 2 minutes before reading rules problems will just always appear.
And I've saw in some topics that people constantly complains about rules that are too much outdated.

We're still not sure about the idea of hiring new moderators without Discord, as it could make communications difficult. But we're keeping the idea if we find it becomes necessary.
In the meantime we're working on a way to reduce moderation issues and make moderation actions more efficient. We've already changed 2 things:
- Emphasize more the rules of the forum, there is now a link to the topic directly in forum homepage. And I've added a custom code so that all new members see a message inviting them to read the rules before sending their 1st message (see spoiler).
We've also updated the rules themselves as they were a bit outdated.
- Added a report button directly in the forum! You can click it at the top right of every message that you find inappropriate. Moderators will be able to see all reports in a page and take action accordingly. This should be more convenient than the current manual report process in discord.
If this works well we will extend this feature to report tracks, comments messages in online chat and so on.
Hopefully our efforts will help make MKPC a better and safer place 🤞🏽

Well I'm writing mine now. The community reached a point where we can hardly go worse. Coopa is literally Bluey. I'm sorry, you don't even try with memes. It's just a photo of a chef screaming for some reason, with the only context being your tablet battery being at 30%, or Luigi with a ghost. Nobody understands your meme. Your message average is way too high, you're writing a lot, half of your messages are either irrelevant or annoying. Ralsei... the massive alt creation just to praise yourself the other day was really not a good thing to do. SFA is literally in a state where it's worse than Discord channels, barely one meme out of ten or twenty is funny in Meme of the Day... also Ralsei, a dance party? For what bro ? The topic has 178 pages, it's not even an achievement, it just proves that you're spamming a freaking lot. There's a reason as to why the forums are getting to their absolute worst. It's because people don't even try anymore. And there's nobody to call them out, since moderation had enough, and some people (wink wink) complained so much about minimodding, that it's gone now. I'm aware minimodding is bad, but it's still better since it makes people understand. Nobody dares to touch the report button. It's either used as an abusive tool for nothing, or not used at all. There's absolutely nothing fun on this community nowadays. Everything just makes the overall ambiance worse. I preferred when people called out others for nothing, at least the site wasn't filled with spam. Do you notice how much activity has increased ? I'm almost at 23 per day where I was at 19 during the previous months. We're in a very bad phase. Coopa, stop spamming. Ralsei, stop doing whatever you are doing. KirbyBoy, stop complaining. Please. It just makes the overall ambiance terrible.

Max has already said in the past that Tendo was on his last chance, and he has blew it.

This might be a hard situation to get out of. Moderation is inactive, and spam has increased. Space For Anything has become the new MK Hype, simply due to the spam. It’s hard to find actual conversations about MKPC, and it’s hard to just have a good time. There are 3 examples of people which are contributing to causing problems:
Coopa
Tendo
KirbyBoy
Coopa
Known mostly for how much he spams. Spends most of his time either going off-topic or complaining about other people going off-topic, even though a drama =/= off-topic. He also likes to support the other problem makers.
Tendo
He’s been banned twice, and has somehow not been banned for a last and final time after what he did the other day (alt spam, insulting other members, ect.) He cares more about topics than other people, and also suggests punishing people but begs to not be punished himself. Just annoying and hypocritical.
KirbyBoy
In terms of topics, this guy likes to spam them. He has made around 5 topics for the same purpose, in multiple contexts. He complains whenever something doesn’t go his way, and it’s just irritating. Here are some examples:
- Wario stadium and colosseum not being in the BCP
- CPUs being too hard
- DK using a fire flower

Yeah the forums are bad i’m leaving….. but i’m not going to say when but after 3 days it should be clear also if i were to announce it I can’t do it on April 1st because people wouldn’t believe me. I think another annoying member is Dmouse since he makes a message and a topic FOR THE SAME THING and then when he advertised on every topic imaginable to say that he made one track and one time he tried to convince me that two topics with the exact same messages word for word weren’t the same

Anyway, Id like to add some more complaints, concerning the state of MKPC.
Even with SFA, there is still useless topics. Take KirbyBoy's for example. The fact people are STILL spamming on SFA, and the fact that their is (Sorry if I'm nagging, but it's the truth, ok?) less moderators or administrators looking after MKPC. Which makes it a problem for MKPC with useless messages, that one (Again sorry for nagging) Cuss word that some little kid sent on my news talking about a new game that just went on SNES NSO. Which I hope son there will bea report button for news soon. And the toxicity in the chats, too! In May 2022 (Sorry for not reporting, but I didn't know how to make images at that time) Someone was spamming The N-Word! And, we had 2 or 3 DDOS attacks! Which is why I'm carrying out the idea for a Sign Up test to see if your mature enough to go on MKPC, young or old. Anyway, those are my Complaints. Now, who agrees with me?

I don't like the idea of captchas, and then now we have cooldowns so I think if there's a bot that's disturbing, we delete the messages and/or we ban, it's as simple as that ig
