I know I've already said it, but I feel like more people will understand if I explain why on a whole new topic.
STOP WITH THE ASK ME ANYTHING TOPICS.
First off, it's like Amogus, it's a dead trend. It used to be active in 2020/2021, and all of those were reasonable, there wasn't too much of them, they didn't actually die after only a few questions... there were more difference between each of these topics.
Nowadays you feel like everyone is copying each other. I swear. This evening, 9 topics out of the 10 latest were Ask me anything topics. That's way too much. Plus there isn't any variation between each other. It begins with Nudge copying Max's iconic question "How did you discover MKPC" in teal font, the color Max use. It used to start like that, it was pretty funny. But guess what, people are copying Nudge now. (I've only done this one time, when Nudge was the owner of the topic) people are copying what Nudge copied. Now everyone copies the questions of each other, the amount of those topics is increasing, and people are always saying "there's a lot of those so I decided to kick in the trend". If every MKPCian done that, the forum would be flooded. It's already flooded by all of those pointless topics.
Plus, they prevent the good topics from being active, since they hide the good topics. Then they die as well. Basically, they kill and they die. The 2 sides got killed, that's pretty bad.
The main problem in all of this is how nobody tries to be original, nobody tries to ask interesting questions (maybe a few but not much). There were even questions like "Can you fart". Am I dreaming.
So how bad are these topics, on a scale ? Well, they're not totally harmful, toxic and stuff, but they're still strongly problematic. Three topics like that is okay, but now every member is having his own. And it's not even an interesting concept tbh. So they kill good topics while dying quickly, being repetitive, annoying, pointless and they are especially message farming. A lot of the messages contained in those topics are simply... useless. And tbh a space for anything is good for this kind of things. Because there's ONE Space for anything. Not a Space for anything for each member.

Maybe these types of bits are happening because some members are bored and they want to copy anyone and it gets out of hand when the site is quiet someone decides to do a "funny" and everyone else wants to do the same thing. But that's my opinion.

EDIT: Also, my fanfic is now really bland. Everyone just talks about the 'not enough villainy, too much heroism' trope as well as 'warcrimes' (Or most of the time, it's literally just inactive

This idea was so old, I'm honestly surprised it came back.
I wasn't really a fan of the idea to begin with, if you really wanted to ask someone a question you could kinda ask them in PMs (although it would probably be a bit less interesting that way). I don't mind some proper questions being asked, but other than "How did you discover MKPC" (which is super cliché btw) the topics are generally flooded with either stupid questions or unrelated messages.
I would be lying if I said this trend hasn't gotten annoying, because we all know it's just an opportunity for forum grinding at this point. I don't think stopping the topics altogether is entirely fair, but if you are going to post something can you please ask proper questions.
And asking stuff like "do you fart" is only displaying your immaturity.

I agree, I didn’t even realize how many people were doing this until I checked and there was way to many. Also many of the questions were the same on all of them, it’s just so bland and boring. So I’m going to lock mine because this trend is getting old quick.

Yeah, it is pretty spent atm. Maybe every once in a while, but this is too often.
