just one thing: If you're going to fight for Luigi Circuit's background, why aren't you fighting for Peach Circuit's too?
Peach Circuit only has 3 differences from the Mario Circuit: an unique background, deep green grass with flowers instead of sand, and lighter normal grass. That's it. Apart from the unique background, there's only 2 very minor aesthetic changes that don't affect the gameplay or atmosphere that much.The Luigi Circuit, on the other hand, has much more to offer:
- Noticeably darker colors
- Complex aesthetic elements that aren't present in its Mario/Peach counterparts (soil, ripple strips)
- (Also) an unique background
- An extra obstacle that changes the gameplay (the puddle)
- A more somber atmosphere
Although I'm not completely against a theme for Peach Circuit (or even Riverside Park and Broken Pier), Luigi Circuit simply IS objectively more interesting than these other 3 options. Therefore, it makes sense to prioritize it first.
I think it should be a subtheme for Mario Circuit, same with Boo Lake and Broken Pier, and Lakeside Park with Riverside Park.
Riverside Park and Lakeside Park are the same but with different backgrounds, same goes for Boo Lake and Broken Pier.

We have everything we need in the GBA Mario Circuit template.

On a more serious tone. Mario Circuit has sand instead of dirt. It has light green grass and a pretty lighten up theming (it's around Peach's Castle, the road is light grey etc.) While Luigi Circuit is significantly darker. The grass is darker, the road is darker, there is black and red borderlines, the background is a rainy airport, by the way its more original than Mario Circuit. Mario Circuit has pipes while Luigi Circuit would have puddles, at first I thought Jey was ridiculous when he was having a crisis over the water puddles, though it's what makes Luigi Circuit from GBA interesting. The scenery is interesting, and there is the rai
gimmick, which makes the road slippery, but puddles also forms on the road.

On avait même commencé le design de certaines pièces mais finalement on a jamais eu le temps d'aller au bout.
Bon boulot, je vais voir pour rajouter ça au jeu bientôt !

En analysant mon thème davantage, je me suis rendu compte qu'il y a 2 défauts chez les courbes: les vibreurs ne vont pas assez loin et l'orientation de l'herbe foncée manque de cohérence entre les pièces.
Je te conseille d'attendre un peu avant de publier mon thème, le temps que je corrige ces défauts^^
Sinon, je suis content d'entendre cette réponse de ta part et j'ai hâte de finalement avoir ce thème!

After further analysis of my theme, I realized there's 2 flaws with the curves: the ripple strips don't go far enough and the orientation of the dark grass lacks consistency between the parts.
You should wait a little bit before publishing my theme, so I have the time to correct these flaws^^
Otherwise, I am happy to get this response from you and I can't wait to finally have this theme!

Une idée vient de me traverser l'esprit: pourquoi pas rajouter une case à cocher "arrière-plan alternatif" pour les thèmes Circuit Mario, Lac Boo et Bord du lac?
Cela éviterait l'ajout de thèmes trop similaires tout en donnant accès aux arrière-plans supplémentaires, la seule chose que les joueurs convoitent réellement chez ces thèmes.

An idea just crossed my mind: why not to add an "alternate background" check box for the Mario Circuit, Boo Lake and Lakeside Park themes?
This would avoid the addition of too similar themes while giving access to the additional backgrounds, the only thing that players really covet in these themes.

If you ABSOLUTELY want a Rivserside Park tile set or background, you just have to go to Spriters Resource, MFGG, or MarioUniverse (some of links are in the credits of MKPC) and do the track that you want in complete mod with the Sprites that you take to the sites say over there
Just ONE thing : You need to credit the people who ripped the sprites used in the comments or the descriptions of your future track
