Because gliders aren't going to be added. Sometimes Wargor does check the requests and adds them (prefix searcher, background editor...) but notice, this idea has already been talked about since 2020, and it would kill the retro feel, and I get why you would want them, but honestly, it's just too much flaws to be added, and big jumps are more epic anyways so...

Gliders are basically in the game with cannons and also gliders are very useless compared to cannons.
