I'm glad they've gone the Kirby route and incorporated the foreground & background into the level. They should've done it ages ago. Exploring the backdrop is way better than just staying in the one line. Hopefully those segments aren't super short, or there isn't too much backtracking since casuals seem to have trouble with that...
Also there are DEFINITELY more animal powerups in this game, the elephant animation is way too stylized to be a stand alone powerup, Wolf  & Horse Mario incoming. I've always wanted to see Luigi turn into a Duck Luigi, y'know?

THis is a track I'd love to see in MK8 Deluxe at some point. I never got to play Double Dash and I've seen this track a few times and it looks fun and chaotic and evil for how long and unforgiving it looks.

We won't get anything from Africa or South America, and now we have 3 similar courses to split between the two waves(Athens, Rome, Piranha Plant Cove). If Rome had been day then it could've gone with Cove, but it's ALSO at night. No matter which way they split it, it's gonna feel super samey. And also Europe sucks after a while. And we're still getting Madrid, by the way. Just.....why????

I don't agree. It's different from Athens due to the simple fact that it's at night and that Athens doesn't actually go into the city. It's also diffirent from cove because we don't know if there is going to be water.

Definitely choosing mint. I've never tried it, and I love vanilla, but you guys aren't in touch with the Splatoon community to know that teams with white ink have tons of children on 'em because it looks like cum and they think it's funny. And they generally lose because of having so many of said toddlers. So good luck with that one lol.
Although if you don't actually play and just mean in general, good for you.
EDIT: Actually, I lied, it's pretty even for white ink. I just think it's better to disassociate with the "funny colour" in a game about spreading it all over the place. But then again, if you're not even part of the community, it wouldn't affect you...
