For RPGs, i have 3(4 but the 4th one doesn't really count) main things.
1: Story. Both pick up after the opening, but the opening is complete ass.
2: Music. Yoko=auto peak, PM beside TOK=ass.
3: Reception. How well did it sell(a decent indicator for) what how good it really was.
4: Gameplay. Sadly it's an RPG. It's not brilliant, nor awful. It's completely on par.

Also we can safely assume that if the deads had to deviate super hard because of how badly the games did, they consider it an F, & whatever the devs think is most important.

Shoutout to Toadette, instead of blindly praying for patch notes like the other characters, she took initiative & made herself viable. What a boss
