what is the best thing to do with a currupted wii?

so i was downloading something from the homebrew store and my wii crashed when i turned it back on i booted ctgp and it said the sd card was locked after a while i finaly got it semi working but alot of things crash it i would like to start fresh and get everything working. i could just format the wii and the sd card but the wii has tons of miis and save data that i dont want to lose
is there a way i can get everything working again or a way i can preserve miis and save data?

And for the mii, u can share them with a ds if you have one (and not 3ds a nds)
