I thought it was $500 ($550 with the MK World Bundle). I got it right at the beginning but only because I rarely spend money and I had a ton saved.

I already have Super Mario Maker, Nintendo Land, NES REMAX PACK, Yoshi's Woolly World, Paper Mario Color Splash, Mario Party 10, and Sonic Lost World

Modding is literally the best way to use a wii u ( i use aroma cfw)
USE AN UP-TO-DATE VIDEO GUIDE IF UR GONNA MOD IT

I'd recommend getting games like smash 4 or even MK8. I modded my Wii U two years back and it has been a BLAST(I still play it to this day). Honestly, hot take but some of the games gave me more enjoyment then Mario Kart World.
